Always thought this one would be a banana skin, really disliked the general assumption in the media that we would turn up and steamroller them, guaranteed 3 points. Just glad we didn’t do anything daft and give them a silly goal.

Considering we started almost the entire same team that started against Arsenal, and therefore that they are most probably knackered, we’ll take that - but plenty to ponder before the next one.

Credit to Burnley too for the shift they put in, playing in the right spirit and not giving up even though they looked far short of PL quality.

Jesus Christ that was nervy, players looked absolutely fried but that’s no surprise considering the monumental shift we put in on Sunday. Bernardo (absolute engine freak) was fantastic, from one end to the other and was the most mentally there.

Why pep did not start Nico G there is beyond me, we better not lose him cos il be pissed he is a cracking player. We need him for rhythm and to get as much game time as possible. He was the most like for like for Rodri.

Semenyo, god he is the reason we are in the race still but there’s so much to his game he needs to work on. Touch, positioning, staying switched on. He looks like he needs to drop abit of bulk for what we need in a winger. Saying that hopefully a proper pre season with us will get him up to scratch.

Pep better bollock Haaland for those last 10 minutes. That hoof into the air for no reason could have ended badly for us.

Arsenal are in rank form and didn’t score at home against Sporting. Why people suddenly think we’re up against Klopp’s Liverpool, I’ll never know.
