Firstly we won, but that was a missed opportunity to boost our gd. Second half the build up play was far too slow and there was a lack of urgency and we were too wasteful in front of goal. At least we are top of the table for now.

The excellent start made the next 85 minutes painful but, had Burnley kept us out until the 85th minute, I'd now be bouncing.

Tonight could have been a real banana skin. We weren’t great but we got the 3 points.

It was never going to be a case of racking up the goals. Burnley were not going to lay down at home.

XG is usually lower than the goals you actually score. 3.5XG would normally see you scoring 4-5 goals. We did enough to score more but the results are what matters.

Anyone moaning tonight about a bad or sub par performance should remember that we were no where near winning the league 6 weeks ago. Top of the league tonight and it’s in our hands. Credit to Burnley for making it competitive.

We missed Rodri, as any team would, be we created enough good chances to put them to bed and I'm not certain Rodri changes much with that. To underperform the xG by that much is crazy

Arsenal fans will be gutted we won it at all. They would have been hoping we'd slip up like they did v Wolves a few weeks ago. I can't see then winning their last 5 based on their recent performance and their fans know it, they'll be desperate for us to slip up and we haven't tonight.

One thing in our favour , we worked like trojans to keep that lead , every single player worked for the team , our football was average tonight , but our attitude and fight cannot be faulted , need to get to the Cup final at the weekend then we have a week to recover and get Rodri fit.

Doku is great in big games but his lack of goal threat becomes very apparent in games like this one. Did really well to put Haaland in on goal but 2 tame shots and not a single cross all game when we absolutely dominated possession and territory start to finish, and he wasn’t hugging the touchline either.
