The media have a product to sell. They are absolutely gagging for Arsenal to win it due to the 'bottle' narrative they've been selling - they will 100% have stories already written about them winning it for the first time in a generation and then who they have to sign to do it back to back. I can also guarantee that one of the AFTV lot have a City bottle to drink from the first time we drop points.I'm surprised that so many blues are falling for the false 'should have battered them' 'missed opportunity' narrative being peddled so relentlessly by the media.
Burnley don't get battered at home, it was their last hurrah for the season, their last chance to be relevant in a positive way, and most importantly, City were involved in a win or bust game at the weekend, the physical and emotional toll of which should not be underestimated.
As Omar from The Wire would say.....all in the game man, all in the game....
