It's probably more complete exhaustion of all the regular 2 - the tories needed to go, but labour (in my eyes) have not performed well and Starmer is a weak PM. I thought Sunak was a lot better to be honest, a sensible head, but the tories were already toast by that stage. This leads to Reform being the next party in power over here.

The last budget was poor and created a lot more frustration in this country. We know where Labour's priorities are.
My main gripe is what do they do for single people, especially men? Bar a 25% CT discount, NOTHING.
You could argue (like people getting help for having children) - that there should also be some incentives / help for being on your own instead of being penalised.
And there is a darker issue here that most do not see. The male suicide rate in this country is very high - I do think there is some correlation in what's happening with our country and some people saying fuck it what's the point.

In fact the track record of the leadership is to have got pretty much everything wrong when they promised milk and honey with Brexit and in fact made the plight of youngsters even worse by helping deny them the chance to live and work in the EU. I don't know what a government could/should be offering to the very group of people that have the best opportunity to live and work anywhere in the country whilst not having any family ties. They are upwardly mobile-I know having moved from Manchester to West London as an 18 year old-it's tough but worth it for the right job.
Families do get help simply because they have additional childcare costs and are often not mobile due to schooling etc. That is not the case with single people. An incentive is only so if it applies to a specific group, after that it becomes the norm. You're not penalised for being on your own, but neither is a couple helped until they become parents.
We have limited fianancial resources and how they are spent is always going to be tough.The biggest challenge has to be affordable rents and housing and Labour seem to be doing their best to address both issues. Maybe a period of strict rent controls is called for, but then wait for the bleeting from the landlords. I hear nothing from Reform addressing this, but then again I don't listen to them in detail after the lies of 2016.

What's Boris doing these days?At which point I'll be legging it if at all possible to Italy on the basis if I'm going to live in a right wing country with a basket case economy then I'd rather it was somewhere warmer and with much better food.
More seriously I can't think of any policies or capabilities they'll have that'll improve living standards for ordinary people? Reforming the benefits system and immigration in a fair way will be well outside of their capabilities and even if they managed it, it's a drop in the ocean in the bigger scheme of things. Meanwhile they'll be torching the remaining rights that ordinary people have, whilst simultaneously scaring the markets with batshit crazy economic policy ideas. The current government imo are in a kind of palliative care mode but that coalition would be more likely to stick pillows over our faces to finish us off.
