President Trump

It's the White House Correspondents' Annual Dinner tomorrow night, with Trump reportedly attending for the first time as president. I can't for the life of me imagine anything will be said or done that makes Sunday headlines...
I was hoping they'd allow Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert host it...

I'd seen suggestions that he's going to make a speech (which will probably be insulting most of the people) and will then walk out.

The WSJ are getting one of the top awards. I think for the scoop Trump/Epstein birthday card with a woman's silhouette - there is no chance he stays for that.

Nice to see the turd has received so many negative posts on this Form
I’m A Bible Believer Christian and it makes my blood boil to think he wouldn’t have Gotten in as president if it wasn’t for the White Christian evangelical vote .

Even in my church there people who think he’s a Christian .

In my opinion he’s a False Prophet

Quite a few are not attending and it promises to be a wonderfully awkward evening. Fox to sweep the board? There are to be no roasts, so all eyes will be on the pre-booked Oz Pearlman, magician and, eh, mentalist…

Good thing is he will never get to use it he will be dead or in prison in next 5 years I hope if he’s in office he goes quick but if he isn’t I hope it’s a slow lingering painful death
I'm sure he won't get to roll around in the cash for much longer but his two chucklefuck sons will be around for a good few years yet, and they currently have their hands on the Trump family business, in name anyway; we all know who is really in charge.

Talking of the President's offspring, remember when the whole of MAGA and the press went absolutely fucking wild over Hunter Biden supposedly benefitting from his dad's influence with his Burisma job? Yeah, not even in the same galaxy in terms of scale of corruption, yet MAGA, Fox, Newsmax and other right-wing media outlets have been stone cold silent.

Weird that...

Not even denying it any more.

Incidentally, Trump's casino went tits up.

There’s a clip of him before his first term telling everyone he was amazed how much money you can make in politics, he doesn’t give a fuck, if it didn’t affect us all I’d say let him ruin the USA they deserve it for letting him in, both democrats and republicans are both as much to blame.

Weird how Don Jr. was involved in screening potential candidates for top Pentagon jobs, bragging about it in his podcast about how he wanted Generals who were interested in future innovation such as drone technology instead of conventional aircraft.

Even more weird that Jr. joined the advisory board of the drone company 'Unusual Machines' in November 2024, and the firm announced a major U.S. Army contract less than a year later, in October 2025. Additionally, another firm backed by a venture capital firm tied to Trump Jr. 'Vulcan Elements' received a $620 million Pentagon loan in 2025, just three months after that investment was made.

If you're entering into contracts you should be able to assure the necessary supply for them independently of each other. I get that sometimes demand will significantly outstrip manufacturing capacity, but we shouldn't be at that point with what in the grand scheme of things is currently a relatively small conflict.

I'd expect them to ramp up production to meet both requirements and if they can't I'd expect serious questions to be asked from the European side about their capacity to do so in the event of a wider conflict.

This kind of thing is highlighting just how much Europe needs self-sufficiency and sovereignty in the military, energy and tech sectors.
