Match of the Day?

Tried to post the link, but it didn’t work for some reason.

Pep at his post Wembley interview.

Pep.

There are not many journalists here, just the good on ones.

A journalist shouts from the back of the room.

Just like your fans.(laughter amongst journalists)

Pep. (Caught off guard)

Yes, yes, but they will be here for the final.

Laughter continues amongst the journalists.

Cunts!

The utd paid media are showing absolutely no signs of slowing down with their Bruno for POTY campaign.
It's like they're canvassing an MP for the election, no shame just full on bollocks.
There can't be many years someone wins it who plays for a club that hasn't been in with a realistic chance of winning a trophy all season. But maybe this is why there is one of the biggest media campaign pushes for a candidate ever seen, to mask the inadequacies of his club after another dud season.
I suppose you can only mask it for so long by writing about a 'new stadium' so why not throw everything you've got into a different approach to try and keep that club relevant whilst the title battle rages on.
If this fucker wins it.
It will mean nothing in the future

Just some observations of recent of our recent games on tv. Chelsea away our fans amazing singing loudly all game, Chelsea very quiet no mention whatsoever from commentator. Same for Burnley away so at Wembley
the commentator tells us how we are getting drowned out by the scummers the camera focuses on our end
and there's a couple of guys asleep he explains that he's been in that end but absolutely not as a City fan it was
the way he said it as though it would be a bad thing. Wish we still had the likes of Brian Moore, Motty and
Barry Davies.

In there posistion are you suprised

As for the empty seats lark who fooking cares if other teams where getting there year after year the crowds whould do hevsame unless your a glory hunting club.

I know its on a difrerent level but we played Notts C in 1996 they only took 8k but when asked why the numbers where poor he told me that had been 4 times in the last 6 years so the novelty hsd simply wore off.

Btw the bigger issue is why a semi final is still being held at Wembley when there plenty of other decent ground to cope with it .............really does to a lot of shine and basically rip people of at the same time.
I don’t care about empty seats either, and nor am I remotely insecure enough to care about about ‘big’ one club is compared to another, however if a supporter of another club gives it the Billy Big Bollocks about our attendances then, as a City supporter, I’m perfectly entitled to point out the absurdity and hypocrisy in that.

Bit like the manager of the year awards....mancini winning our 1st prem title and they gave it to pardew , pellers winning the title they gave it to fucking pulis
Didn’t Aguero never get into the PL team if the year either?

Let’s face it, everything we win we need to win on the pitch with every **** and PiGMOL wanting us to lose.

It’s why it means more when we win.

I honestly don't care . If the biggest stick they can beat us with is a couple of empty blocks in a stadium 200 miles away for a SF that traditionally is played at a neutral ground then bring it on . Best SF I went to was in 1981 at the Holte End at Villa Park where another screamer , this time a free kick from Power , won us the game . The capacity of that terrace was 30 to 40 k , the biggest in Europe, and I think it was split down the middle between us and Ipswich?
It tells you something when they are scraping around at this level to find twigs to beat us with.

Ideally he should have said yeah but we're here more than any other club and the fans have to pay to get in unlike anyone in the room.

There are two reasons why the FA use Wembley for semi-finals:

The first is that they own it and spent a small fortune on rebuilding the place comparatively recently. So why spend cash on hiring smaller stadia and leaving Wembley empty for the weekend? That argument did not apply in the past when the FA had to hire Wembley for finals.

The second is that most of the suitable alternatives are in the wrong place. Back in the day, Villa Park and Hillsborough were the default choices although Highbury and others could be selected. Back then both were considered large enough and were well sited to minimise transport costs for supporters. That is not the case now!

To host a semi-final between City and Southampton could have been at Villa Park just like my last non-Wembley semi-final against Ipswich in 1981. That would now accommodate 40,000 as compared to the 80,000 who attended on Saturday. Alternatively it could have been at the Emirates or at Tottenham. In what way would travelling to Islington or Tottenham been better than to Wembley for anyone?

There are some decent grounds around the country suitable to host semi-finals but most are in the wrong place or are too small. The likes of Villa Park and Elland Road are too small. Hillsborough and Old Trafford are too rundown if not dangerous. St James Park, Stadium of Light, Anfield, and Hill-Dickinson are geographically isolated. Imagine the moans from supporters if they had to go to Sunderland for a semi-final!

Like it or not, we are going to be stuck with Wembley for many years to come. So continue to moan but don’t be surprised if few listen.

Hence why I said Pep was caught off guard by the journalist who shouted that out quickly.

Peomdidn’t have time to think amongst the laughter from the Journalists.

In reality the journalist knew why we didn’t sell out.

He was just being a ****.

The same supporter will also sing WWYWYWS at us, they need to make their minds up.
