No wonder we get the bitter blue tag...some people on here fit that perfectly.
As @gordondaviesmoustache will aver!I know plenty of City fans who's Dads were reds. So it not always the case that you follow your Dad.
Just like his brothers……Hes a City fan, just like his brother, me an you..
To be as famous as Noel and still go to away games, standing in the away end instead of sitting in a fancy box — that’s propa die-hard.
He's got Pep on speed dial meeesh, he doesn't need points ;-)Be interesting to see how or how many points he's got, but I suppose that's for another thread

There's a quote that goes round social media (not sure if real) that Liam doesn't go to watch City anymore as he doesn't like the EtihadWhat about the video of him on Soccer AM years ago saying his kids will support Arsenal and not City....
The guy only remembers he's a City fan at the business end of the season.
Liam is the one
That is quite simply ace. XAside from the fantastic music I will always look fondly on Noel´s link to City.
I had just left Blighty for Germany in 1992 when I was 18 and living in Stuttgart. I was struggling badly with homesickness and barely left my appartment not knowing anyone there.
The Inspiral Carpets were playing in town and as a big fan I went down to the concert hall early doors to see if I could blag a peak at the soundcheck. I was wearing my purple and white City top.
I was greeted outside the gig by a fella who was delighted to see my City top and we got nattering for ages about City. I had no idea who he was other than he was called "Roadie" Noel.
He asked me in to meet the band and I had an amazing time socializing with the band before and after. I was also added to the guestlist for their european tour and I followed them to Zurich and Geneva always talking City with the roadie.
It was the best 4 days of my time so far and acted as an immediate medicine for my homesickness. It gave me a massive lift and I started to enjoy life there, once the language and confidence about my surroundings improved. So much so Im still living in Germany 34 years after. If that concert hadnt taken place just before Xmas 1992 I doubt I would have returned to Germany after my Xmas holidays back home.
I make a point to this day to go and see the Inspirals (and Noel, Oasis, NGHFB) whenever I can.
It wasnt until about 2 years after I learned about Oasis in NME and saw this fella "Noel" on the front page. He seemed familiar but it wasnt until I read the article that I learned that he used to be a roadie for the inspirals. It clicked that this Noel on the way to greatness and the one Id met in Stuttgart talking about Michel Vonk and Michael Sheron were one and the same.
Ill always be grateful to Noel and the Inspirals and if it wasnt for Noels love for City and his recognition of my shirt my life would have very easily taken a different path.
For this reason alone I dont really like seeing anyone question his fondness of our team.
None obviouslyBe interesting to see how or how many points he's got, but I suppose that's for another thread
