Notwithstanding my above post, I do take your general point. Our support is definitely underestimated to a ridiculous degree by fuckwit opposing fans and mendacious journalistic chancers.
I even saw some Southampton fans online in recent days claiming they're a better supported club than we are. I had a quick look at the European Football Attendances site to obtain the true figures. Admittedly I didn't check rigorously year by year, but my perusal suggested that they've had a bigger average attendance than us in one season during their entire history (1964/65).
My stat is certainly close enough to the truth to enable a sensible observer to form an entirely accurate view of anyone laughably claiming the Saints to have more fans than us. Which is that they're merely a delusional fucking simpleton.

Raggy Sam isn't exactly revealing an inside scoop here by reporting that Ake is "expected" to leave in the summer. Being a "journalist" these days is often just pointing out the obvious and even then, with a caveat such as "expected" so if it doesn't happen you've covered your arse.
I'd imagine most blues would be expecting him to leave by virtue of the amount of games he's played this season, his age, the signing of Guehi and Gvardiol being back for next season.
Ake has been a very good signing for us, probably better than many expected, but it's probably time to move on so he can get some more games under his belt. What an asset he'll be to his next club.

Dale Johnson, BBC “football issues correspondent” has an article about stopping the goalkeeper ‘timeout’ because Chelski were guilty of doing one against Leeds in Sunday’s semi-final.
Apparently this problem was “starting in November when Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma went down as the West Yorkshire club were in the ascendancy at Etihad Stadium.”
Funny - I vaguely recollect that tactic being owned and perfected by a red team from North London. I must have been mistaken though because there was no mention of it in the article.

Did cock nose contribute anything towards any of the foreign jollies he has been sent on to report on pointless Rag friendlies?
Perhaps he should give us his views on the poor turn out for Rag semi finals against Palace and Arsenal at Villa Park in the 90's which is less than half the distance as Wembley, and are amongst the lowest semi final attendances since the war.
Probably wasn't there as this would mean having to pay for his own ticket and expenses.
