What do they expect with American owners.Everton now being screwed by rising ticket prices it would seem, with a demo planned for Monday night. From the FSA:
"The blue half of Merseyside have been outraged by ticket prices hikes this week too, as the Everton Fan Advisory Board (FAB) released the results of a survey showing a clear majority of fans opposed the club’s decision to increase prices. A demonstration is now being planned for Monday's game against Manchester City at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
"Evertonians are loyal and attach a strong sense of identity and community to our football club. But the message is clear that supporters feel that their loyalty is being stretched and exploited," the FAB said.
"The FSA backs the Everton FAB’s message which is entirely in keeping with our #StopExploitingLoyalty campaign. Ticket prices promise to be big a talking point at our upcoming AGM"
Well that prediction turned out well.Brighton have recorded four wins and a draw in their last five matches, and have taken 19 points out of a possible 24 in their last eight. The team is in excellent form, with a favorable run of fixtures ahead, and is capable of winning all four of their next games.
This makes me delighted. Hopefully the other preferences will prove correct as well. ;-)Well that prediction turned out well.
Youre right about theirr lack of success but I'd miss them if they weren't here. Lovely walk to the ground and Young's special in the pubs nearby. I've seen highly entertaining games at the Cottage and I was a fan of the rugby league team when that got started.Good god, Fulham. What use are they? No major honours in their whole history, unremarkable stadium that still looks boring even after the renovation, they never turn up in the months of April or May unless they're in the Championship, one Europa League final 15 years ago which they got battered in, a bunch of embarrassing relegations to boot. Can't rely on them for big scalps, they've got no players anyone cares about, their away following outside of London is a minibus load, there's that bizarre away end at Craven Cottage that the home fans can sit in. Has anyone ever seen or met a Fulham fan? Do they just hire ringers outside the ground? Just a nothing club who I never miss when they're not in the PL.
I guess they were useful for £11 I've made at the bookies this afternoon.
No idea pal, but the form and psychology of City and Arsenal are very different now to what they were then.Just wondering, what was your prediction before we won 1-0 at Leeds, considering that Arsenal had won there 4-0 a month previously?
That just makes me even more nervous.

Honestly I've always had a weird irrational dislike of them - to the point where friends of mine have had to pull me up on it - but over time it's only felt more rational to me, lol.Not a fan then?
I don't have any strong feelings about them, pro or anti.Honestly I've always had a weird irrational dislike of them - to the point where friends of mine have had to pull me up on it - but over time it's only felt more rational to me, lol.
