The IDF couldn’t function if Trump didn’t send billions of dollars to fund the invasion of southern Lebanon, Gaza and the West Bank.
The UK is equally to blame supplying military equipment we are still culpable, wars can’t start if we stopped selling weapons to unstable countries which Israel is currently.
The UN identifies the UK as asking “for Israel to stop its military campaign” …. it’s a joke together with the USA we still send the money and weapons. We are to blame

Can we get this right as it keeps getting peddled.
We don’t send money and offensive weapons. We do however supply parts for aircraft to the US which are used by Israel, but not directly. We also stopped licences for any weapons that can be used offensively.
Also, we have sanctioned Israeli politicians, recognised Palestine as a state, stopped negotiations on economic deals, as well as sanctioning invaders of the West Bank. We have also reopened funds to UNRWA and on the current count, authorised approximately £100 million for humanitarian aid to Palestine.
Yes, we do have ties with Israel, but they are now very strained, leading to the likes of Netanyahu to criticise the current UK government.

If anyone leaves this counrtry to serve in the IDF they should not be allowed back in, make this plainly clear before they go, if they have family here, that family is welcome to go with them to Israel and not return also. Just like Begum going to ISIS, they are culpable now.
Hundreds of British citizens were arrested and investigated after returning from the Syrian conflict.
(As an aside Begum was never investigated properly)
But I’m unaware if that applies to people coming back from the conflict in Gaza.

This is true only last week Belgium confiscated two extremely large shipments of Military weapons bound for Israel from the UK. It will be held by them while legal proceedings are undertaken as military equipment is not allowed through Belgium.

For this USrael - Iran war and prior to the ceasefire, the US has spent US$25 billion for the few months alone, and the administration is requesting another US$1.5 trillion for several months more.
With those taxpayers money being used to send offensives to Iran, imagine how much American lives could have been saved for medications and surgeries.
Or The homelessness prevalent across states.
Or More proactive systems to prevent and predict public shootings.
Or the higher education for the intelligent but less well-off.
US$1.75 trillion for the community goes a long way. But of course, its not MAGA its MIGA.

And when the next guy wants to put them back into europe, putin will kick off saying they are moving their troops closer to russia and they feel threatened.
This is all the fault of the US and Israel however Iran have been incredibly belligerent and the leadership is a proponent of evil with its sponsorship of proxy groups and suppression of its own people, so while it pains me to say it (and I can't believe I'm saying it) I think I'd now support a tactical nuke launch at an Iranian military site, or just offshore as a warning. If Iran responds by attacking GCC infrastructure then sadly it would be time for shock and awe (and I lived in Tehran as a young child and know how beautiful it is).
Hopefully that doesn't happen and Iran backs down but I don't see it.

Using a tactical nuke would open Pandora's box and justify the use in all kinds of other situations. What would then stop Russia from using them in Ukraine for example? If one is ever going to be used, the circumstances need to justify the consequences of doing so. This is a fairly low level conflict in the grand scheme of things, with only the economic side being all that impactful. Do we really want a world where tactical nukes are being deployed to resolve economic issues?
Agree but I reckon that's where we'll end up.
I suppose if Iran does attack US ships who are escorting civilians ships that would justify a NATO Art 5 call and NATO can get involved in dismantling Iran.

Trump, Hegseth and Miller are itching to use nukes, you can tell with the rhetoric of lethality etc etc, Trump will boast no one but him would use them, within 72 hours Putin will do the same and then things will escalate rapidly in Europe. They always said WW3 would start in the Middle East and Trump is too stupid to back down now, he has no off ramp unless Iran can be talked into giving him one which they don’t seem prepared to do. The US military has been show to be not as effective as the thought they were as those trillions spent on defence are are no been pushed back by simple drone warfare, the usa will run out of missiles beofr Iran dies drones which may leave the tactical nuke as the only option.
