24 | Joško Gvardiol - 2025/26

He's likely to make the match group for the last 2-3 games. Whether he will play some minutes is anyone's guess. Maybe if we need goals he may be subbed on, as he's our biggest threat from corners. Or if we have won the title before the last game.
He'll want to come back to help with his fitness ahead of the world cup but unless we have injuries, we arent going to be throwing in a player who has been out for 4 months if there is anything on the line. If we've already won it, or lost it, he might get some minutes but he won't be in Peps thinking for the remainder.

Pep is not likely to rely on him, but much depends on his actual state. Rodri was the best on the pitch at Sunderland in January after being 3 months out. These are top professionals, not kids.

He won't be playing for us this season unless an injury happens.

He may be "fit", but he isnt "City match sharp" like Guehi and Khusa are and disrupting that pair is stupid at this stage.

Let him train and get his minutes at the world cup for his legs and back next season.

Well, the blue that was gutted he was going to miss the World Cup can probably feel less gutted at this point

He didn’t look leggy and/or rusty which was a surprise after so long out. It’ll be interesting to see what Pep does selection wise given how well NOR has done at LB.
