You think they would have announced it tonight?
My son is now eligible being a season ticket holder on low points. He can’t make it but I would like to take my father in law. When I put a ticket in my basket, it allows me to buy it as an adult even though he’s under 18. I can also get the ticket emailed to me to forward. It does say about random ticket checks though.
Question is, even though I’ve brought the adult ticket, would they stop my father in law going in because it’s not my son going in?
Don’t want to break a rule etc.
Cheers

My stomach when I saw that queue lol Rinsed this year, categories stretched further apart price wise and OAP ticket pricing is dust.About 8000 in the queue lol
Not a chance, don't know what phone you have, but on Android in google wallet the bit to scan doesn't have a name on it, to actually check they'd need to go deeper into your phone to find it.My son is now eligible being a season ticket holder on low points. Like asking people how much they paid for their holiday.Usual story, cheapest showing at £125, buy them and go back on and a load of safe standing tickets appear at £50. Luck of the draw I suppose, probably best not to check.
They block the ticket on the turnstile reader and you then have to go to the ticket office that is solely for city fans and you have to produce id in the name of the original purchaser and they have a paper ticket waiting for you if your details match. Not a chance, don't know what phone you have, but on Android in google wallet the bit to scan doesn't have a name on it, to actually check they'd need to go deeper into your phone to find it.
Modern football is fucking pathetic.I’d imagine something would flag up at City’s end when a cup final ticket is upgraded. It’s a form of queue jumping and it’s possible you may need to collect the ticket from Wembley with ID.

From @mancityhelpYou think they would have announced it tonight?
Plus some restricted222 left for Bournemouth.
29,000 points is the last window tomorrow at 4pm.
I’d be surprised if they all go without one or two further drops.
I was replying to poster who had already posted that..I was surprised they just didn't announce the actual criteria tonight not just release that holding statement... especially due to fixed time constraint involved for all. From @mancityhelp
Further criteria for the
@EmiratesFACup
Final will be announced on Thursday 7 May.
Ten pints Moretti every match is restricted viewPlus some restricted
That was the past, cant do that now I'm a good boy.Ten pints Moretti every match is restricted view
But how do they do these checks if the tickets dont have names on them?I'm not so sure about that, DD. It does clearly state on the City website that "anyone attempting to use a ticket in someone else's name will be refused entry". So, fans should be aware that there is a small risk that they might be the subject of one of the "limited number of tickets checks" and if their name is not on the ticket, it could be a problem.
I can only guess that there are loads of Blues who will be in this position of having a ticket in the name of a family member or friend and that a random check might present a problem. Some posters on here e.g. Tbilisi, have confirmed they were subjected to random checks at earlier finals. So, best to know that there is a small risk involved.
Maybe planning to let Supporters Club Members who bought a ticket in the first window buy an additional oneI cant understand why it's not ready to go tonight. Wasting a day of sales to mull over the criteria. Maybe they're planning to tie it into an additional allocation.
Click on the details and the name is there. But how do they do these checks if the tickets dont have names on them?
