Russian invasion of Ukraine

06/05:

Stuff:
- Russia ignores Ukrainian cease fire (I'm shocked I tell you, shocked and bombed a nursery for good measure.
- Predictably Ukraine has rejected the Russian ceasefire as a result.
- Finland is getting a bit annoyed with Ukrainian drone incursions into Finish air space....
- Krishi Refinary near Leningrad has stopped operations due to drone strike.
- Corruption scandal in Ukraine is stretching into the cabinet with possibilities tgat Zelensky may have known.

Day 1533 Review:
- Russia threatens Foreign Embassies in Kiev if Victory Day parade disrupted...
- Hungary returns the Ukrainian cash it stole.
- Ukrainian counter attacks to South of Zaporizhzhia have pushing the enemy back a few miles.
- Trump rethinking about Ukraine (the US needs Uktaine drone tech). Perhaps he is realising that Putin is taking him for a ride by supporting Iran.

As per one of the comments on the article. If Zelenskyy is involved it will feel like a real kick in the bollocks
When your country is fighting for its very survival, would you, as a trusted government minister, trade your integrity for a villa?
Perhaps I'm holding Ukrainian officials to impossible standards

Don't think he is involved. But some on the periphery of his administration clearly are.

Doesn't seem to have affected Trump's Mafia style control over USA

Unfortunately Ukraine inherited the degree of corruption that years of Russian influence sprouted.
Not that any Country can honestly claim it is totally free of corruption at the government level.

The US is as corrupt as it comes under Trump (he tells his mates what hes going to do, they trade and make a stack of money when Trump actually does it)...
But hey let's have no illusion the UK ihas a serious priblem with back handers - especially when it comes to property deals and house building.

Day 1535 Review:

Ukrainian forces advancing across the entire Southern front.

Slava Ukraini.
The ceasefire didn't last long then did it.
Russia broke the ceasefire around Pokrovsk first then further south near Huliapol and a few other places.
Ukraine obviously went - sod it.

Stuff:

Day 1536 Review:

- Marco Rubio admitted that peace efforts in Ukraine were at a stalemate (code for we no longer have the capability to put pressure on Ukraine).
- Russian leaders not at all happy with Zelensky giving them permission to hold their parade for 1000 POWs in exchange. That didn't happen yesterday BTW.
Russian heavily violated ceasefire near Pokrovsk and Huliapol.
- Ukraine hit Rostov with lots of drones on Frday evening - the Russian Air Traffic Control centre in Rostov was hit. Total panic ensued with air travel at a halt.
- Russian budget deficit hits -6 Trillisn Rubbles at the end of April (The prediction was for -3.2 Triiion for the whole year!)
- Russia starts forrest fires in Northern Ukraine, these are difficult to control near Chernobyl. Fires have spread back into Russia and Belarus.
- Russia not at all happy with zelensky visiting Armenia last week. I guess that's what happens after Russia betrayed Armenia last year.
- Azov drones patrolling Mauriopol!
