I found out today that one of my cousins who I rarely see but who lives near me stood as a Reform candidate!! I am absolutely gutted!

Hopefully has come at the right time, all this. Starmer turfed out (or at least pushed to the edge of it), Reform councils now being asked to run shit instead of just crowing from the sides. Hopefully long enough before 2029 for those two situations to be resolved.

This is very true, seen it first hand with parents and in-laws and also how it has massively changed their views. Mostly driven by fake news that I continuously have to debunk, which isn't very hard with a simple Internet search.

It’s quite clear they’ve been got their opinions and have decided to try and make a difference, sacrificing their time to volunteer, etc.

If you’ve got such a big issue with them,
why not step away from the keyboard and volunteer your own time for a rival party?

My ward has been won by reform, I'm not surprised. I expect to see a North/South Manchester divide between reform and the greens.
