I think it was 44 years before you won your first prem if I’m not mistaken? Success happens at the different times waves in the ocean as they say, enjoy your lovely trip to Wembley we will enjoy our nice lovely trip to Hungary for the champions league final and potentially a premier league title.(by the way you didn’t batter us in either game this season infact you had 11 men behind the ball in the first game and got a draw even pep said you should of lost)
We rolled you over TWICE no matter how you spin it. I'm loving this idea that you're not getting done by PSG. Good luck with that chief.

They are a bit weird Goons , there are a few on here and no doubt a few more could join , perhaps they are outcasts and are not allowed on their own clubs forum , something very strange about them and looking at some of their "facts" they produce , not very bright , but if your south of Watford a frontal lobotomy is de rigueur, surely
I dont have an issue. You may not agree with their views, but the ones here are pretty respectful and don't troll. Nothing wrong with banter and they are all quite complimentary about City.

Give it a couple of weeks , the true colours will show

What do Doku and O’Reilly have to do to earn your trust? In all seriousness, I think we are missing Gvardiol’s presence: as a left footed defender in build up, bombing up the pitch and making assists, and being reasonably rapid tracking back on counters. I really feel our build up is unbalanced and ergo O’Reilly and Silva have being overplayed.

As to the Boro-Saints game, I didn’t watch it but am not going on a limb to say it is a different sport when both teams go at it, versus one team parking the bus. The Saints had most of their 11 in their box when we played them. I feel our slow build up precipitates this situation, but teams do play this way against us more so than others in the top 6.
Honestly, I've no problem with Doku (anymore). He's frustrating, but still has some really good games - and the odd great one. I'm still not convinced that his return is top-notch though, considering the amount of the ball he's given. He also kills the momentum of breakaways too frequently for my liking and doesn't check out the situation before collecting the ball, thereby missing Erling's runs frequently. Scored a couple of beauties the other night, though, so hopefully he'll gain a lot of confidence and take a few more shots (assuming that he's allowed to - we never know which is a player's decision and which is a gameplan). All in all, though - definitely a starter, every game now, given the squad.

O'Reilly should always be one of the first on the team-sheet as far as I'm concerned.

So I wasn't having a dig, but I do think that we are too predictable with the 'give it to Doku' gameplan. We have a couple of dangerous RW players in Semenyo and Nunes and I think that we should keep opponents guessing more often. Maybe switch the play more than we do.

Re: the Saints match, Boro pegged them back today just as we did, but they were still managing to get their shots away. My comments were made at half-time - it all changed 2nd half though, Boro dropped their level whereas we picked up the pace.

This league's not done and dusted yet - 4-1 tonight and then get behind those Hammers.

Baffles me how anyone can say Doku is frustrating when he has been our biggest offensive threat outside of Haaland and almost single handedly kept us in the title race last Mon

Looking back at our home games with Brentford, they have been quite tight affairs. I expect the same this evening and it wouldn't surprise me if it finishes a draw.

They have been here most of the season including when they were 9pts clear about to go 12
There will be a few more joining , its not a problem , we have improved since August and will be very strong next season , where as the Goons have been on the decline since Xmas.

It's relative to a player's capabilities - I'm not frustrated with Sav, because I think that was we've seen is his limit, for instance.

As for Monday, is it not possible for a player to have a good game, but also be frustrating, then? By that metric, there can't be a single player in the squad who frustrates you, lucky thing.

You will enjoy your lovely trip to Hungary by posting on this forum during the game.
