Trouble maybe it’s because it’s a working day.

I think the way it should have been framed is if you attend as a season ticket holder you get a free cup game next season. If you are a member a half price ticket should it open for VillaWhat more incentive do City fans need to attend the test event if they have no interest in the stand, don’t want to part with £5, and won’t be moving to the new North stand.
Talk about what’s on, being vague, and a secret.

Live music. Which band or singer?
Former players. Who?
Photo opportunities with who, the former players?
Interactive quiz and prizes. What prizes?
Moonchester & Moonbeam. The kids, if any turn up, will like that.
Plus much more. What more?
It’s hardly tempting people and selling the event is it?
Be better offering a Spring Roll and glass of Rice WineI am surprised about the lack of interest from the so called local supporters who brag about being loyal but will not support this event. It strikes me that the club needs support from the out of town fans and tourist to give them the gates the club requires. You'going to get a pint and and pie, which sounds better than a Tesco meal deal.
No need for that shit. You can still get a pie and boverilBe better offering a Spring Roll and glass of Rice Wine
Rice wine not appropriate but what tourist cares anyway

Not if you want to attract enough people for the “test” you’ve missed the pointNo need for that shit. You can still get a pie and boveril
Well they have so think you've missed any point. Not if you want to attract enough people for the “test” you’ve missed the point
I thought they would dangle the carrot of priority access for Villa tickets. If it guarantees a Villa ticket I would have gone.
I have been trying to get through to the ticket office to check, for Villa, however according to the website the allocation of season tickets for next season in the new stand will be based on attending 35 matches over the last 3 seasons which I haven’t done so that’s me out currently. The 4000 extra flexi tickets will be split 50/50 with young fans so effectively 2000 flexis are up for grabs for those fans who meet the criteria.I thought they would dangle the carrot of priority access for Villa tickets.
WTF is this? Why can't they just sell new season tickets and get some new or lapsed fans into the new stand? It's just barriers all the way.I have been trying to get through to the ticket office to check, for Villa, however according to the website the allocation of season tickets for next season in the new stand will be based on attending 35 matches over the last 3 seasons which I haven’t done so that’s me out currently. The 4000 extra flexi tickets will be split 50/50 with young fans so effectively 2000 flexis are up for grabs for those fans who meet the criteria.
Really frustrating that barriers are there to committing to next season-the price of success and not keeping up attending has done for me,life issues got in the way and the door seems to be shut for when I am now able to commit fully.
Did you miss the 4,000+ Flexi tickets being issued bit?WTF is this? Why can't they just sell new season tickets and get some new or lapsed fans into the new stand? It's just barriers all the way.

Who knocked you off your perchWell they have so think you've missed any point.
I wonder if we will sell out, with that criteria. 35 games even over 3 seasons is a lot in my opinion - especially when you factor in the cost of match day tickets.WTF is this? It will be like most sales, start with a high criteria and gradually reduce it until they sell out.I wonder if we will sell out, with that criteria. 35 games even over 3 seasons is a lot in my opinion - especially when you factor in the cost of match day tickets.
Maybe they’ll gradually reduce the criteria?
Theyare also "preaching to the converted". These people are going to most matches anyway. To increase attendences thjey need to be attracting new fans and offering additional season tickets, as a plus 1 to existing holders, or just as new sales full stop.I wonder if we will sell out, with that criteria. 35 games even over 3 seasons is a lot in my opinion - especially when you factor in the cost of match day tickets.

I agree, demand clearly isn’t there right now for a lot of these games. You only have to look at the palace game tonight.Theyare also "preaching to the converted". I know what they are doing of course. It's as simple as them making more revnue from single ticket sales. But demand is not there right now for several reasons.
