Arse's average score for wins for 25-26 is 1-0. Ours has been '3-0' throughout this entire season. Yet so many of you bellyaching about tonight and Brentford's results like they were a shambles.

What amazes me (but doesn't really) is that Palace have nothing to play for, we play half our 2nd string, and they still have two banks of 5. Now, you should be able to set your team up however you like, but fucking hell, it's depressing to watch.

I don't think it'll happen, but we've made sure they can't slip up (so long as we don't).

I like the fact Arsenil have drawn 5 games this season from 36 games...that's almost 14% so it could easily happen again.

I think Pep is thinking that after half time that arsenal have to outscore us. arsenal have one game to outscore us when we have two games.
Situation now is that if we are to win our final two games 2 nil, arsenal have to score 6 in one match without reply.
Obviously this is dependent on arsenal dropping points in one of their matches

If Pep really thought we had a chance he wouldn’t have picked that side. Palace were terrible and that’s 2 weeks before their cup final!

If Arsenal. miraculously slip up and we win every game I’m sure we will win on GD but it really isn’t going to happen.

You need to send your crystall ball back to the shop for a refund...it keeps giving you negative results. Maybe the match day threaders went to the same place....probably amazon hey...not much quality on that site.

We only need them to draw...thats the great thing....& Burnley have drawn or won 13 pl games this season & palace have drawn or won 22 pl games..we only need either of them to draw once...its not totally impossible.

Edit; Burnley have drawn or won more than 33% of their games....
Palace have drawn or won more than 50% of their games.

Edit again; get these stats onto an Arsenil forum & they wont sleep for the next 10 days!!

Some Palace players might well be playing for their Euro final places and they're not easy to break down,although do tend to fold once they concede but Arsenal's nerve could go if it goes to the final day, bearing in mind they're away at a tight ground with the crowd on top of them. Palace won't want a London rival lifting the trophy on their patch.

Burnley is a far more likely win for Arsenal but again you just never know.

We’ve dropped 15 points after leading at half time. That is a horrible stat . Arsenal have dropped two. If we were even close to the Arsenal number the title race would already be over.

We're a team in transition, still rebuilding. Most people would have laughed if you'd said at the start of the season we would win one, potentially two, trophies and still be fighting for the title with 2 games to go. Most of the melts on here didn't give us a hope of winning anything.

Well Burnley have let in more goals than anyone else.
Arsenal have let in the least.
Arsenal are at home.
We have a +1 goal difference after today.
We have a tricky away game against a team on a winning run better than ours.
They have final game against a team in a final a few days later.We have Villa.
If they slip up and draw its GD if we win.Optimistic me says their GD will be more + than ours.

Strange atmosphere in the stadium tonight, I think the team selection set the tone. Then we scored and it was back to normal. Nice to see the original Phil back. Have to say, what a performance from a thrown together team! Regardless of who wins the title, City are the best footballing team in the league. Enjoyed that tonight.
