Not seen it myself yet but even Savage on 606 was scathing of the decision to not call hand ball.

From what I can deduce, VAR called the ref to the screen which normally means "you've fucked up change your decision"

Not in this situation apparently.
The BBC's tame ex Ref Darren Cann said that the goal should have been disallowed but praised the actual ref for sticking to his on field decision.

WTF is this shit?!?

Well to be fair, it is a good achievement, especially when you look at who he equalled and may even surpass next week. Not worth all the fanfare and media hard ons, but a good achievement nonetheless. Not to be sniffed at .

Bruno is a very good player. Probably should be at a team that wins things. I wouldn't want him but there's better teams in Europe than the rags and he would do very well. There would be no shortage of good teams wanting him if he's available.

And so it begins before this season has even ended......MSN.com

If Manchester United are to achieve their target of winning the Premier League by 2028 then Michael Carrick’s Red Devils are set to be hailed as the greatest-ever champions. They’re so much fun.
Pass the sick bag!

Bruno..wtf..he's called rat face ..he's not fit to lace Ginger Kev's boots
Most of his assists are from corners or free kicks
Goofy Freddie Mercury looking **** shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Kev

It usually does mean the referee changes his decision. As I've mentioned before, the refs have been to the pitch-side monitor 83 times this season. Only twice have they gone against the VAR recommendation. In January when we played Wolves. VAR asked the ref to the pitch-side monitor suggesting a clear and obvious handball error in the box against a Wolves player. The ref decided not to award us a penalty. Yesterday was the only other incident all season where the ref was called to the monitor and went against the VAR recommendation.

Not saying he's as good as Kev. Not close.

But equalling the assists record is impressive. We will be giving it the big 'un if Cherki does it.

But the BBC stats relate to just this season. He has only got two goals from open play and his assists are mostly corners and free kicks. If you take all his time in the PL he is the 18th best assist provider. The story is totally distorted. His career is bang average.
