Elliot Anderson | Opening bid rejected (p189)

The London, Rag, infested football media are already doing their bit for United.

It really is shameful and embarrassing that they always have and always will push and promote the Rag narrative and bias without a second thought and without any shame.
The only way Anderson fails is if he goes to the graveyard of potential goats.

imho he is closer to me to Bellingham/Rice now, if he develops end product more he may go Gundogan path
He seems to be able to ping a ball on the move and from all angles as well though, he seems more dynamic in the mould of a Gerrard but id take him being in the mould of rice or Bellingham as it is something we need in the midfield energy wise with good enough ability once bernardo goes

They totally humiliate the club too because most of these players give rags the elbow & go to good clubs :-) :-)

Fuck me…sure they let those ‘slip away’ deluded cunts springs to mind…imagine taking that puff piece to your editor to approve..must of either figured it was top berting or been a deluded red himself

I think Andersons people would be naive to not at least listen to the rags offer to be honest, especially if there is doubts over Peps immediate and long term future

Yeh I’m sure bellendigham and rice were itching to play for a team languishing in 15/16th place.

Disagree (though I've obviously got blue glasses on).

Firstly, by all accounts he seems to have already decided where he wants to go, so anything they say is irrelevant.

Secondly, even if Pep were to leave, we'd still be a more stable and better ran club than that circus of a club.

His agent has already probably discussed the rags or anyone else offer. This whole mind made up thing is never 100 percent imo. Players have all sorts of motivations and change their minds all the time.

It’s a great choice to have and shows his development. Pep is a huge draw but the club I feel is catching up on its own merit now for player recruitment. We don’t need to solely rely on pep to get players. The balance is defo much more even now due to a period of domination and stability.

Until he signs blah blah blah we will wet the bed -:)

Lets hope that the £75m release clause to champions league clubs is true then as i dont see us doing more than £80m including add ons to be honest.

If he says he only wants us, and sticks to that, other bids don't matter. I could see £85m but not much different to you.

I'd be more surprised though at this point if he went to united than if he stayed for another season at Forest, and I dont think that's likely.

(I've been wrong before though!)

You think Carrick is a long term manager for the scum?

No mate but for the first time in a long time with scruffy jim knowing that we have the best infrastructure then he`s gone and got City guys in? So Berrada and Wilcox at least know how we plan things, scout, do the deals etc so for the first time in a long time they at least have some organisation?

They are trying copying us but bottom line the glazers still own them

True but also still manage to find £200-300m every summer window even though the debts grow? For the record, i think we have got Anderson but if we didnt offer the money required and they did, i dont think he would have any problem going to them.
