Shows the difference doesn’t it with the “goal” they awarded today so he could equal it. I said before, the officials knew that presentation was planned today for their last home game and that’s why that goal was given it’s bent as fuck and clear as day
The dodgy goal wasn't the assistant it was the third goal

Not saying he's as good as Kev. Not close.

But equalling the assists record is impressive. We will be giving it the big 'un if Cherki does it.
It's less impressive in my view.. Lots of his assists are from corners and dead ball situations..
If Cherki does it then it will be impressive as he will be like Kev and not relying on set pieces to bump up his assists.

But good deliveries are not as simple as it looks. Look at our set pieces these days.

Doesn't matter to the media. Just like it didn't the other season when Palmer scored a stupid number of goals and they barely mentioned that the main reason was that he was the penalty taker for the team that got by far the most penalties in the league.

So true mate..it's just bullshit for the morons
They fucking lap it up don't they

Just seen the non-handball. What a fucking joke of a decision. He’s actually used his arm and his side to control the ball!!

But surely Mr Salisbury could see that it was the ball's fault and the whole incident was an accident.

Alternatively the LotG at that moment were suspended and the time it took VAR to send the whistling wanker to the screen the LotG had been rewritten. They will be back in their original format for the Arse v Burnley game tonight.

Harder to create in open play..
Yeah

Anyway all I said was 20 assists is still impressive and it ie, regardless of open play or not.

Never said he was as good as KDB, of course he's not, never had anywhere the consistency or ability

Only a dishonest shithouse would downplay it and say its not a good achievement as a standalone achievement just because he plays for the rags.

The reason only 3 players have reached 20 assists in over 30 years of the league is because it's very difficult to do!

Then I must be a dishonest shithouse because I am downplaying it..
It's not a standalone achievement whichever way you try to say it is.
I'm not interested in what the goofy Freddie Mercury lookalike does..he has padded his stats with dead ball assists..until he gets the vast majority of his assists from open play I'm not impressed in the slightest.

The BBC's tame ex Ref Darren Cann said that the goal should have been disallowed but praised the actual ref for sticking to his on field decision.

So praise for being stupid, stubborn and very likely corrupt , PGMOL must have the biggest collection of bent employees all willing to keep certain clubs winning , despite the clear travesties their decisions cause.

Fucking shameful organisation.

First time I've seen that and honestly, it's quite clear cut that it should not have stood. The laws of the game a clear for all to see, like them or not, and so was the ball hitting his hand.

VAR not to blame on this one, it's all on Salisbury. What did he give as the reason for his decision on the field? Not enough hand?

It's worrying that this season we clearly see some officials going against the black and white laws, and others greying the text, when there really is no apparent need to justification to do it.

The premier league states it has anti corruption initiatives on place. I'm not suggesting clear corruption here , but I think it's time they showed what's behind those words and, given the value and stature of the premier league, the monies involved, I do think now is the time to launch a full, transparent, independent, investigation into potential corruption in the English game. Would be one hell for a documentary if they had cameras following the investigation, I bet Amazon Prime could market the hell out of that. If they find nothing, fantastic.

Well to be fair, it is a good achievement, especially when you look at who he equalled and may even surpass next week. Not worth all the fanfare and media hard ons, but a good achievement nonetheless. Not to be sniffed at .

Bruno is a very good player. Probably should be at a team that wins things. I wouldn't want him but there's better teams in Europe than the rags and he would do very well. There would be no shortage of good teams wanting him if he's available.

Ignoring the fact that he is a moaning over-hyped mardarse, and **** you mean ?

Why do you rule out corruption, when the rags get the benefit of so many dubious decisions ?

PL/PGMOL conspire to effect outcomes on a regular basis , but US owned clubs are their priority .
