Referees' Performances | 2025/26

I am still bemused that it has taken so long for posters to see and acknowledge how corrupt and manipulated certain decisions are arrived at by PGMOL' refs and VAR operatives.

I just cannot accept that so many clearly wrong decisions are made with the technology at their disposal.

The PL and PGMOL are in effect the same entity and corruption cannot imo be discounted or dismissed.

The circumstances surrounding Masters being appointed, followed by so many different attempts to stifle City and Newcastle .

The PL voting system controlled by a cabal of US owned clubs.

It's all there to see

Pl admit its bent. As soon as the ceo said the pl has a plan for a different club to win it ever 6 years.
The only way that can happen is by rigging games, there's no other way

When a player goes sliding in to cut out a cross and his arm is slightly raised in a natural position and the ball hits the arm it’s given as a penalty e,g Celtic v Hearts yesterday despite the fact that in most cases the defender handles it accidentally, where else is the arm meant to be? Yet a forward control the ball with arm and hip and suddenly it’s accidental and ok? If it looks fishy, smells fishy, involves the rags you know it’s bent.

Referees have been accused of letting VAR make the big decisions. Perhaps now, some refs' are deliberately going against VAR -just to make a point, especially as they are being labelled "Brave" for doing so.
Find a "subjective" incident and call it against VAR (even if it's a poor decision) - just to prove a point.

I've tried not to get dragged into the whole corruption thing with refs, PGMOL and VAR. The Utd second gives absolute creedence to those that have serious question marks over their integrity though.

The whole reason VAR was brought in was for exactly what happened. Ref missed it, fair enough. Give benefit of the doubt that they just genuinely missed it. Called over to the screen and whilst we've been crying out for refs to have some backbone and stick with their original decision they decide to do it on the most blatant handball of the season. No doubt we'll get some apology next week which could have been too late for Forest if they were still fighting relegation.

You know there's something seriously wrong when the Chuckle Brother is in shock and almost speechless on commentary. Fucking raging.
That’s Entertainment …

WWE at its very worse.

No just corrupt.

I’m not convinced there’s a big conspiracy, I just think they’re not very good.

That being said it is interesting that the 2 handball decisions where the ref has gone to the screen and not changed his mind from his initial and clearly wrong decision, involved the 2 Manchester clubs, with the VAR advised outcome not being implemented.

One not benefitting one Manchester club!

As predicted yesterday. Apology would be incoming the following week. Could have been too late for Forest had they still been in a relegation dogfight. Absolute disgrace.

Well knock me down with feather, nobody saw that coming did they. A journalist should be allowed to interview the ref and ask what his thought process was to allow the goal and why on earth could he not see what every man, woman and child could see. Utter disgrace and he shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a professional football game again. Actions should have consequences. Imagine if every ref was marked after each game and bottom three are demoted. Table to be made public each week with average mark shown. Refs would soon start making the right decisions especially if they lost marks for making none and allowing VAR to bail them out.

I thought England was more than decent on Saturday.

He didn’t fall for any of chavs' diving and falling down antics, especially in our penalty area.

And have their salary reduced as a result.

I was actually amazed by his performance tbh, but the chavs made it easier for him by trying to get every fucking foul , dubious decision they could.

If they put as much effort in trying to play, instead trying to cheat, they might have had more success.

Joao Pedro and Cucurella don’t know any other way of playing. Palmer doing his best to catch up.

That’s why they were so shameless about it. Had Forest been in a relegation battle they would’ve disallowed the goal but instead given a last minute penalty to United.
