Referees' Performances | 2025/26

I give the Pigmol and VAR cheating bastards as much stick as anyone. I am a blinkered, paranoid, a bad loser, and a moaning little fucker to boot. Aside from that I thought the ref today was as good as we have had for about five years.
He was at least honest.
Seemed to ref both sides equally - which was a refreshing change.
Most importantly didn't fall for any of Chelseas ice skating falls in the area - if they'd actually played when they got in our box instead of flying around they'd have created chances (baffling to me).

It was an ugly lunge at Bernardo. I think it was a sending off offence.

Come on mate.
Far too low to be dangerous.
It's only a glancing blow.
He got the ball.

Difficult game to referee today and he did OK. The fake injuries were infuriating. Players off the pitch getting teamtalk and no treatment for "injured" player. Just drop the fucking ball and get the game going again. That is something the PL are going to have to address because it's getting ridiculous. Didn't fall for all of Chelseas' histrionics which was pleasing.
Just seen Enzo Fernandez's challenge on Bernado again and that must have been borderline red.

Wasn’t he on var last fa cup final?
Yes, but he's not linked with the absolute travesty of not sending the ref to the monitor after Henderson hand-balled it.
No, he's working his way back into the Premier leagues good books for fucking up a var decision that went against the dippers.... because, of course he is!

After every fucking City game there is something, that people say that City got some decision it is so fucking diresome

I think this thread is indicative of modern reffing standards, we are saying he was okay because he didnt make a monumental cockup. That should be the norm and the expectation not a reason for praise objectively he was still poor and gave multiple soft fouls for chelsea players falling over at the slightest contact while letting it go on city players, we as football fans have let our expectations become so low that not making a glaring game changing error has become a reason for praise rather than standard practice and that is the legacy of howard webb.

Jarred Gillett was the VAR for last years Cup Final.
Darren England was the VAR a few weeks ago who recommended an on field review for a penalty for us.The courageous rookie Ref declined to change his mind.

Just watching the Rags & watching the cheating cunts at work. This referee should never work again for allowing that & should surrender mobile & laptops & provide access to his bank accounts. It’s fucking bent.

  • Immediate buildup: If the ball accidentally touches an attacker’s hand or arm and that player immediately scores or creates a goal-scoring opportunity, the referee must disallow the goal.

When Neville knows it’s a joke of a decision then you’ve got a major issue but don’t worry the eager media are around to cover the tracks & tell you it was the right decision.IMG_2126.jpegIMG_2125.jpeg

I've tried not to get dragged into the whole corruption thing with refs, PGMOL and VAR. The Utd second gives absolute creedence to those that have serious question marks over their integrity though.

The whole reason VAR was brought in was for exactly what happened. Ref missed it, fair enough. Give benefit of the doubt that they just genuinely missed it. Called over to the screen and whilst we've been crying out for refs to have some backbone and stick with their original decision they decide to do it on the most blatant handball of the season. No doubt we'll get some apology next week which could have been too late for Forest if they were still fighting relegation.

You know there's something seriously wrong when the Chuckle Brother is in shock and almost speechless on commentary. Fucking raging.

I am still bemused that it has taken so long for posters to see and acknowledge how corrupt and manipulated certain decisions are arrived at by PGMOL' refs and VAR operatives.

I just cannot accept that so many clearly wrong decisions are made with the technology at their disposal.

The PL and PGMOL are in effect the same entity and corruption cannot imo be discounted or dismissed.

The circumstances surrounding Masters being appointed, followed by so many different attempts to stifle City and Newcastle .

The PL voting system controlled by a cabal of US owned clubs.

It's all there to see
