Difficult to see him remaining unless there are peculiar circumstances of which we are all unaware.Surely Nico G. is leaving...
Fucking hope not. He should be the staple of this defence and side for the next 10 years.
Of course Maresca is not Pep.If you can predict the future and already know exactly what punishment we’re going to get, then go ahead and publish it, save all of us the waiting and uncertainty.
I was talking about two issues that I think could be problematic for us when it comes to signing players. First, the fact that Maresca isn’t Pep, which is undeniable, and second, the whole situation surrounding the charges and the possible punishment.
If I’m a player, or an agent representing a player that every top club wants, I’m looking for stability. In the past, the balance often tilted in our favor because of Pep. Now that advantage isn’t there, and there’s also uncertainty surrounding the punishment we could receive.
And maybe I’m wrong, you’re welcome to explain why. But what does any of this have to do with whether I’m a true Blue or not?
Seems bizarre not to utilize him or have him on the bench.Surely Nico G. is leaving...
looks like itSurely Nico G. is leaving...
I’d maybe give Savio another season but I’d definitely sign another forward that can play both sidesSavinho, bernado, mamoush, Gonzalez, kovacic, stones, ake, grealish, Lewis all to go for me. That leaves a lot of dosh to build. We need start by signing the elite young European players like we once did sane, Rodri, bernado, Kevin etc.

The players coming in have to be the strong, athletic mould.
Most of our midfielders look like they are gassed after 20 minutes. And thats playing walking Pep football!!
Vianna has got a lot to do. He should be starting next Monday morning!!
And one of them is still a shadow of his former selfDifficult to see him remaining unless there are peculiar circumstances of which we are all unaware.
We currently appear to be heading into 26-27 with only two established midfielders (Foden and Cherki) over whom there are no question marks. Quite concerning but equally quite exciting.
this might be trueI'd expect hot summer for City
Out
Stones - confirmed by City
Bernardo - confirmed by City
Kovacic - has no place in squad anymore, also needs game time
Ake - has no place in squad anymore, also needs game time
Lewis - has no place in squad anymore, needs game time, probably will be loaned out tho
Alleyne - WIl be out on loan again
players who may leave
Rodri - Real are eyeing him hard
Trafford - needs game time, imho him leaving would be a costly mistake for us, i don't think Big Don will stay long term here, probably will be loaned out
Reijnders - from what i've have read, City will sell him if an offer is received, apparently Juventus and Newcastle are eyeing him
Marmoush - needs game time, I doubt he is happy with his current role, also Barcelona are eyeing him
+ Rumored Pep departure
In
Anderson - this imho is practically in the bag
i prefer additional CM - Maza
young right back - Read/Kayode or someone similar
probably few young players - Monga, Conceição, Eduardo Pape
DM if Rodri leaves - Tonali/ Wharton, Maybe Tchouameni if Real offer him as a part of Rodri deal
2nd if Trafford leaves - My ideal choice in this case would be David Soria from Getafe on a free, would be solid 2nd choice gk
I hope notYeah Di Marzio did say that Maresca is a massive fan of Palestra. He fits Maresca’s system I just now have a bad feeling Enzo Fernandez will be coming.
