It's not a conspiracy, I just I don't think Sky have the bollocks to question VAR offside calls. They did for the Liverpool Spurs one and I'm sure the PL took exception to it even though it was a terrible error.

You aren't gonna see Sky/TNT question those 5cm tolerance calls when red teams score by generating their own 3D renders.

Nowadays the only unofficial lines drawn up are by foreign broadcasters or people online.

I’m not going to get into a lengthy debate about this.

The 5cm leeway is applied to all offsides and applied before the lines are drawn. If they overlap, then it changes to one green line to show its within the tolerance level.

For all decisions, like the one you’ve illustrated, the leeway has already been applied and they still don’t overlap, so the system shows it’s offside.

Fans then say “what about the 5cm tolerance” and “it’s only applied to benefit others”. It’s copium.

Dont need to. And yes I was an engineering major so I know what parallax is (and isn't).

If that photo is genuine and correctly timed, he is well onside. But I am not certain of its authenticity as there is lots of doctored stuff on the Internet. And I have seen at least 1 other photo that shows him in line and prob onside. But closer

We’re in the age of the internet being flooded with as many “facts” that muddy what is true.

People don’t believe anything except those that confirm their already held view.
 
Seeing the blatant manipulation that PGMOL choose to operate, just how many of their decisions such as offside can be relied upon to give the correct and honest assessment ?

I personally have very little confidence whatsoever in the officials and their systems, and have no doubt that manipulation or more honestly corrupting evidence or information, is quite common with the intention of benefitting certain clubs.

The PL/PIGMOL alliance is deliberate and plainly open to distorting and perverting the outcomes.

Arsenal have massively benefitted this season clearly and obviously from the biased and deliberate ignoring of their fouling in goalmouth situations.

At the same time, identical offences committed by their opponents were penalised thereby giving the arsenal offenders an unfair and deliberate advantage.

Whilst arsenal may have won the title , with the clear bias and benefit afforded to the by PGMOL officials, their success has a hollow and tainted mark against their achievement.

A reward for dour, ugly tactics and performances, with clear and unfair assistance really damns their win as a disgrace and insult to football standards and sportsmanship.

I accept it was offside but I don't like the flag going up in that situation.

a) #15 is 60yds away from the linesman whose view is obscured by the closest defender and Haaland's considerable frame.

b) It's not a pass out wide that Doku has to chase after. It's a through ball straight down the middle that will lead to a 1v1 yet they can't hold for the 5 seconds it will take to play out.

Worth a watch (if you have the time). Seem to have been on the right side of most decisions this year. Apparently he’s making a part 2 as some were missed also.

Guess you could do this with every time in the league as there’s always going to be mistakes.
But the shear number of decisions in their favour is ridiculous. I don’t want to spout that it’s bent or corrupt but with videos like this, it’s hard to blame people who think it could be.

It’s far more likely that in the split second the linesman had to make the call that he was more certain Haaland was offside that he should have been.
