Many departures this summer, wish it was Vinny taking the reins but I guess its going to be a bit of a poisioned chalice to start with straight after Pep.

Reckon Rodri will be gone with many other experienced players, Ake, Stones, Bernado with reports that Gvardiol wants to leave aswell and we need to shift the likes of Lewis, grealish, savinho, Phillips.

It'll be interesting to see how Maresca uses Gonzales, Marmoush &Reinders or if these may be moved on aswell.

Hugo has got a very busy summer incoming and with a World Cup to navigate aswell, wonder if the 115 cloud will be lifted aswell

Don't think it is a poisoned chalice, we won't have 10 years like the last 10,but even if Pep stayed for another 10 that might be true so nobody should have that expectation. I do think he leaves us in a very good position for any good manager to bring more success,not as much as Pep would but who would. I think Maresca is a very good manager and given the tools we will give him will show himself to be the right appointment.

Too much rotation from Pep and injuries meant the squad never really gelled this season but the bones are there. Keeping Gvardiol and Rodri are crucial for me given turnover elsewhere.

Even if they were dpn't think it would be a left back we wanted, from what I've seen about Maresca,O'reilly and Ait Nouri cover us better than Cucurella.

i don't really know how we could accommodate Anderson AND Fernandes, they seem similar to me

i think if Rodri leaves and we sign Anderson, i think better option would be Tchouameni

yes, he would not be best controller, but he should do wonders with Anderson and Cherki further up the pitch

I don’t ever entertain any players from Madrid cuz who wants to leave there unless they acc kick you out. Tchou is good but I think he’ll suit Utd better.

I see your vision but I genuinely can’t think of any good comptroller besides Fabian Ruiz. He can do everything except cover ground and win duels i’d pick him for experience and his skillset. Let Anderson do the dirty work and all the heavy lifting. Give Cherki absolute freedom but to tell him to STAY HIGH like KDB did closer to the finishers.

Anderson and Fernandez sounded good to me cuz of how I see him and Caicedo and how he plays in Argentina.

I don’t think we’re gonna see the next Rodri anytime soon

He can barely play as a CM let alone a CDM. His best performances have come at AM.

He so very immobile listen to how Chelsea fans talk about him, yes he has passion and effortlessly gets 20 g/a from midfield but he can’t consistently unlock defenses or be great in tight spaces. He doesn’t win duels or cover ground which is why they got Caicedo. He’s been played in a bunch of positions but AM is not his best place imo. He’s not worth the money they paid for him too

There is a likelihood of Rodri and Kovacic both seeing out their contracts and leaving next summer- Ake, too , following the pattern set in recent years. If we know that is to be the case, then it makes sense to bring in two midfielders this summer and gradually phase out any dependency on them. I would expect any new coach to select with an eye to the future as they forge their own identity.

Our wage bill is crazy no way players like Kova and Ake stay, when bench players like Marmoush on 300k don’t get shifted
