PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I fucking hope we are not going to be going into next season with the charges not resolved.

The timeframe is criminal especially when the league has fook all evidence.

Jealous attacks on our club. That’s all it’s ever been about.

Best legal minds? Haha must have looked at the shit evidence and forgot all about the case. Someone has had to poke them into action…

Friday is a good day. I will then have all weekend to enjoy the melters.

Who won the league this season? Can’t remember, maybe need to write a letter to pgmol? Totally useless league this time around without blockbuster city.

Anyway, up the blues.

Fucking sick of them being thrown at our achievements. Always having digs about the clubs achievements. It does my head in. Not that I worry about the charges. Just sick of the idiots who constantly go on about them with no idea what they are! Fucking herd mentality. Pep doesn’t deserve to have his legacy muddied.

Not worth worrying about. They'll all say we paid them off anyway when we're finally cleared so it doesn't really matter when they announce it.

I do think at the very least that somebody should come out and explain to everybody WHY it's taken this long to announce anything though. At least that would go some way to shutting those morons up who think we're still using some sort of delaying tactic. What exactly they think we're delaying it for is anybody guess.
 
For the accountants out there: did anything change in the way we reported our finances between 2017 and 2018.

If not why did the charges stop in 2017?

As far as I understand it, the allegations covered up to and including the 2017/18 season simply because that was the last completed season before the emails were leaked.

But you would have thought the PL could have investigated and made allegations up to 2021/22 as well if they had found anything convincing in the earlier years. You would need a lawyer to explain that, though, not an accountant.

I don't think they have anything convincing for the earlier years in any case, for many reasons, so it's all rather moot imho, for the most serious issues at least.

Yes, it will be we paid them off. The easy counter is if that was the case why did we not bribe everyone to not bring charges in the first place rather than to fix the pretend court case?
No mark rags on twitter etc will of course continue to spout rubbish, but media 'profesionals' will have to be careful - probably why some are getting the digs in now.
