Absolute rubbish. That will kill off lower leagues, infact we are fast becoming like serie A in terms of the games
They won't care about that.Is there any evidence to suggest Sunday PL games have lower attendances than Saturday PL games?
I can’t remember when these fixtures came in. But it’s really frustrating, you have spent all summer waiting for the new season and then 3 games in there’s a week break then another 2 week break. It’s fucking mental. And the problem is made worse but these international breaks for pointless friendlies which seem to happen in the a lot in the first 3 months of the season.
I'm pretty sure I have seen evidence in the past that suggests Premier League games clashing with lower/non league does affect attendances. Can't remember when and where I've seen it though, so not much use in proving anything.Absolute rubbish.
There is no evidence that televising, say, Crystal Palace v Tottenham Hotspur will deter people from attending an EFL match or even a National League.
Back in the 1980s, there was very little live football on UK tv and attendances were rubbish.
By and large the more live football shown on TV, the higher the attendances appear to be. This applies to all matches from the Premier League and down the pyramid in England and Scotland, regardless of when the matches are held.
We are bored with saturation coverageThere's football on every day eventually people will just get bored of it
Bored of it for years now ............used to be a big deal having one game on your full concentration on that one match ...........now on Sundays at 2pm you simply channel hope for fun if the games has a lull of say 30 seconds :)There's football on every day eventually people will just get bored of it
The National League is doing fine while being broadcast on DAZN. I just don't think that's true.
Absolute rubbish.

Not forgetting that lots of us can now watch any game at any time via streaming sites.Absolute rubbish.

It needs to be less fucking games with less fucking teams. What they are doing currently is suicide by a thousand paper cuts.Europa League and Conference League needs to move to Tuesday or Wednesday. They won't kill their own revenue though.
Or put it Monday and they play their league game on the Friday night before.
The problem is, is that "like they used to" cannot apply anymore.I can’t remember when these fixtures came in. But it’s really frustrating, you have spent all summer waiting for the new season and then 3 games in there’s a week break then another 2 week break. It’s fucking mental.
Just play a Wednesday night international like they used to.
