Yeah. It's a paid subscription within DAZN but it seems like every or close to every game gets streamed.at 3pm kick offs?

I already am. There’s more football on tele than ever but I now watch less than when there was less on because its getting boring seeing so many games. Especially with how boring the PL is now with terrible ball-in-play numbers, mind-numbing time wasting, long throws, a minute to take set pieces, shit refereeing, shit VAR.There's football on every day eventually people will just get bored of it

It's not a matter of watching two lower level teams they don't follow, it's a matter of them watching their local lower level teams because their PL team (local or otherwise) isn't playing until the Sunday or later on the Saturday.I feel like there's no way to verify this being true. People who are fans of their clubs surely aren't passing up a live game for the sake of a PL game involving 2 clubs they don't follow.
I wasn't aware of that.Yeah. It's a paid subscription within DAZN but it seems like every or close to every game gets streamed.

However, not sure what they count as attending. Some of those don't look right based off of what I've seen this season.

It was better when there was less football on tele and you would tune in not having seen any for a few days.
Facial recognition is coming I’m afraid !This seems easy to solve
A season ticket can be downloaded to more than one phone, so why not have it on your phone and your sons. If he does not go then you chip someone in, it still shows as having been used by your lad unless someone tells me I am wrong on that?
Oh yes, damn right it is .....Facial recognition is coming I’m afraid !
The match going fan is the last thing TV or for that matter clubs are interested in .I posted the above quote after Crystal Palace won last night and I do think this could start to become a problem.
We had just 15 league games on a Saturday last year, we were lucky 9 were at home. 39% of our league games. The whole league only had 46% of the 380 games on a Saturday. Can see this being an important factor in season ticket renewals across the whole league.
Now I don't know about everyone else but I hate late Sunday games and Monday games. I'd rather us play Friday night than those 2 days.
Sky have been pushing this 2pm slot on a Sunday. They love it because they get to avoid the blackout.
Is it annoying anyone else?
Correct, unfortunately. FA, Premier League, Uefa, Fifa and TV companies earn relatively fuck all from match going fans. The match going fan is the last thing TV or for that matter clubs are interested in .
But, if they were mostly on a Sunday, there would be no need for a 1630 kick off. They could have one game at 1300 and the rest at 1500, with an option to watch anytime you wanted.
You could be right but at least it would stop a lot of ‘if that then then, but if that then that other thing’ nonsense we have. It’s almost always a Sunday would be preferable to ‘it might be Saturday, Sunday or Monday’ and we’ll let you know a couple of weeks before…I suppose it varies person to person but I still think a 3pm kickoff on a Sunday would not be great with the way the transport system is around Manchester. Also most people take Sunday as a day to recover and prepare for work. Getting back from the game, for a 3pm kickoff late in the evening, I think most would prefer that situation on a Saturday.
Yeah I agree with you there mate. I do still love football in theory, but the sheer amount of games and all the noise on and off the pitch does its best to put me off. Then there's just getting older - I don't know if anyone else thinks like this or it's just me, but when you're a kid and players are old enough to be your dad the game feels mythical. Now I am well past what would be retirement age (44) and seeing all these players young enough to be my son makes me feel disconnected. As I said though I don't follow a team so maybe without that tribal aspect this 'disconnection' hits harder for me than many of the guys and girls on here.I already am.
