What would you change about our match day experience?

The main excuse for not increasing tram frequency is overloading the power supply. But trams go nose to tail in some areas so it can be overcome.

We could really do with a Metrolink line that goes to somewhere like Hyde and Glossop that comes down the South side of the Etihad to Piccadilly so we have another Met stop to use like they have at Old Trafford (they have the Altrincham line, Airport+EastDids line, Trafford Centre line, Eccles+MediaCity line and the line to Town all close by).



It’s probably unfeasible but would be ideal.

Surely there must be a way to display the match day threads on here at the ground in real time? It would give the players the kick up the arse they need, and the manager would know exactly what tactical changes to make.

Create a series of back alleys to pass through, with loads of dog shit.
Create about 8 small pubs and a good chippy within 200 yards of the ground.
Have frequent bus service (every 2 minutes) to and from town.
Paint 'Commit No Nuisance' on the walls of the Etihad in big white letters.
Cut the fucking racket from the loudspeakers and the cheesy 'entertainment'. (Which is about as entertaining as Jimmy Tarbuck on a bad day.)

Food and drink needs to be the same price regardless of if you have a season ticket or not. 10% more expensive for none season card holders, but they haven't been selling any new ones for a few seasons. It's also increases the time people take at the counter, trying to scan a season card onto a system that only works half of the time.

I'd also love to know what the hell they are looking for when everyone gets searched on the way in. If it's metal detector I'm being wafted with then they obviously don't work. Just seems like another pointless bottle neck.

One last moan. Why can't they let people out at half time for fag. Surely with mobile tickets you can just scan yourself out & back in? It's like they've just elected a new pope in the bogs at half time.

On a plus note, if they could get the pricing right for match by match tickets, which I still think is a little too high, the place could be bouncing now the North stand is finished.

sell programmes inside the stadium again, also been said earlier there are no incentives for getting into stadium early but this is a result of limited and no street parking, now people are relying on match buses which get you there an hour before KO on a good day , used to enjoy parking and spending time in City Square but due to the parking , fans no longer get there as early as they did

I thought the service in the COOP arena on Sunday was lightyears ahead of the Etihad. They need to upgrade the bars, more self service machines and better trained staff.

More seated areas and places to drink on the concourse, sure they can do it without blocking fire exits.

Get fans in the stadium earlier to build atmosphere and drink, needs incentives for this. More bars around the ground.

Get everyone to understand where the NFC chip in your phone is.

For iPhones it is not on the front screen, IT IS NOT ON THE BACK, IT IS AT THE TOP!

The amount of people trying to scan their screen or back of their phone waving it around like they’re trying to do a magic trick with a wand. With the size of phones now, they can be two inches away from where they need to be pointing it. It slows down entry to the stadium for everyone.



Just point the very top of your phone at this:




Not sure if it’s different for Samsungs or Windows phones but most people you see doing it wrong have iPhones.


This also applies when scanning the little devices to get the Season Ticket discount at the food+drink kiosks. It’s not the devices that don’t work properly, it’s the people pointing the wrong part if their phone at the reader.

Stewards should throw anyone out who's on the phone or making a facetime call. I am so sick to death of being in the background of someone's facetime call to show their mate/family/dog they are watching a game.

The reusable pint pots are awful. I accept we won't be allowed glass but we should go back to the single use ones (plant some trees or whatever they need to do to offset environmental impact). Maybe it's just the type of plastic but it's crap and needs to change.

Also in SS3, they have had the half time token system in place for several seasons which has worked well, but they have started pouring them earlier and earlier, meaning they're sat in the crap plastic pots even longer. I went for a wee at 10 mins on Sunday and they were all already out. They should be banned from pouring prior to the 38th minute in my opinion.

The beer is decent by large scale event standards, but these correctable errors are ruining it.
