Yeah good point on savinho! How many times are we selling Savinho? ;-)
We can’t be selling them all and we certainly can’t be losing value on so many.
The fees are a bit low as I don’t think all will leave
But the point is it’s a huge amount

We need players to come into the 11Way too much churn with a new manager coming in , the squad has been rebuiltover the last few windows for a reason, not have have a massive reboot this summer. There may be one or two we would prefer not to do but the hope will be that we only need to bring in 2 or 3.
We need to be carefull, assuming Trafford and Lewis go that's 2 squad places we lose and can't really replace unless we buy former academy club trained players, the 4 homegrown spotsare filled so all we have to play with including a new keeper and right back are the 17 free spots. We need players to come into the 11
Too many players who clearly weren’t trusted
I reckon a minimum 5 will come in
Still leaves a core of 15 players plus signings
Donarumma
Nunes
Gvardiol
Dias
Reiss
Guehi
Khusanov
O Reilly
Ait nouri
Rodri
Foden
Cherki
Doku
Semenyo
Haaland
I agree. Too many people here are writing off players such as Gonzalez, Reijnders, and Marmoush, but if you look at them now from when they arrived, you can see a huge change in their physical development. We might yet lose someone like Savinho, who probably thinks his lack of game time resulted in him missing out on the World Cup, but otherwise the current squad has been well assembled. If we add Reis and Anderson, maybe one more (depending on outgoings) we are set. The more churn, the more disruption, and the less likely we are to win the League, again. We really don’t want to go three seasons without a League title.Way too much churn with a new manager coming in , the squad has been rebuiltover the last few windows for a reason, not have have a massive reboot this summer. Would be a great move for him and them. He frightens me when running towards our goal in a foot race with an oppo attacker, but still comes out on top more than not. Top servant to the club.Bournemouth want Ake
Good move for all parties I thinkBournemouth want Ake
Pretty much how I'm feelingGet me Anderson and either Palestra or Read in ASAP and the the rest can be done depending on who leaves.
Definitely need another midfielder at the bare minimum. If we were to only make those three signings it would be a good SummerGet me Anderson and either Palestra or Read in ASAP and the the rest can be done depending on who leaves.

Those 2 add what we desperately lack
Anderson gives energy, purpose & steel to our passive and legless midfield and Palestra gives relentless energy and calming ability on the ball to do what Lewis has unfortunately been unable to do
The other moves are direct replacements for those that leave, namely a senior CB like Dias/Gvardiol, Marmsoush, Savinho and Nico G

I think we want Read but his club want a record sale. So the other links to Porro and Palestra are back up options as they maybe cheaper.
really like his crosses.
Who is Labour ? I think one or more of Bah Etcheverri, Alleyne etc stay either in the team or out on loanI can see us going huge this summer
Let’s say we sell the following
Marmoush £40m
Nico G £40m
Trafford £40m
Reijnders £40m
Ake £10m
Savinho £40m
Lewis £25m
Plus Grealish, Bah, Etcheverri, kovacic. Alleyne, akanji, labour,
That’s £225m with realistic fees. Maybe we won’t sell all of them but that’s a war chest before we add some
We could be looking at £400m
That’s two £100m players and maybe four £50m players
If we get it right (ala not Liverpool last year) we can really step up the squad.
Viana will be keen to build his squad
Here are recent highlight videos comparing Diomande and Barcola for those interested.
What standouts to me is Barcola uses his speed across big distances to a great advantage for him... but you can see his dribbling and control is not elite, he often plays kick the ball and chase football you see kids play, and probably why he got replaced with the Georgian player (whose name I wont search to type).
Now look at Diomande his entire highlight reel is being surrounded and using tight dribbling to get out of it, what City deals with on the daily. Much better suited to us and the overall better player.
