26 | Savinho - 2025/26

I keep seeing people combine his goals and assists to try and make his numbers look better.

But he's got 2 league goals in two seasons. He's scored 1 in 12 across all competitions. Those are Grealish numbers.

Surely it's more impressive to just list his assists? Those are what make up the vast majority of his G+A numbers.

Not really an important point but I just find it a bit odd.

Anyway, keep him or not, I'm not particularly fussed. He clearly has a hell of a lot of potential but I don't know how long we're supposed to wait around for him to get close to fulfilling it.

With most other young players in his situation I'd say they just need a bit of confidence but im not sure he's ever lacked any.

Yet Ancelotti didn’t even pick him in his 55 man preliminary squad for the WC.

So? It's fucking Brazil. Missing out on a world cup squad a month a fter you turn 22 isn't unheard of. Theyv'e got 3 of the best wingers in the world already.

Savinho had a poor second season with some injuries and lost a bit of confidence, he shouldn't be going, doesn't mean he's shit.

Are you advocating we sell every player at the club who's not going to the world cup?

Nope. I just don’t rate him. You do which is fine.

If you're getting that from "Spurs believe he's open to it" you're probably reading too far.

Why? Two summers he's been heavily linked with one team and it's been reported he's open to it, not just that Spurs believe he is open to it. If he wanted another club, he'd reject Spurs

Thats not a great argument. Brazil are still one of the top international teams with a very large player base to choose from. There are a lot of good players in the Premier league that won't be travelling to the World Cup.

It's a shame as i really feel like there is a player in there as in flashes he's had some really good performances. Sadly they are scattered in amongst a lot of really bad performances and we just cannot carry a player like that who offers so little so often.

Bernardo was open to moving to Barcelona for 5 years in a row. He obviously didn't have his heart set on it because he was happy to stay here.

Doesn’t come across like he’s particularly arsed where he plays if he’s going to go to spurs. I guess it’s another pay bump and fee for his agent, perhaps he thinks he’s more likely to look good there and get recognition for an ultimate move to Spain.

I really thought he would kick on after what I saw in Girona but it hasn’t worked and we can’t keep waiting. The amount of chances he had last season is frightening and are genuine point swing decisions.

Not from our team there isn't. Grealish, Foden, Savinho, Gonzalez, Lewis -
Donna because Italy didn't qualify.

That's it isn't it?
