Nigel Farage

I did say his comments have made it worse, I just think people on this forum are focusing on his comments more than the actual incident because it’s convenient and I also think the rage was there anyway. He’s not helped and he is a **** but that’s what I think.
This is the Nigel Farage thread you clown, so yes, we're talking about Farage.

Well it is the Farage thread ;) and plenty of posters have expressed views on both him and the murder

Yes and the point is you’re all frothing at the mouth in this thread over some unhelpful comments and either playing down the discrimination leading to death in the other thread or not talking about it at all.

This is the farage thread and not the 'actual incident' thread.

As I’ve said above, certain people are choosing to post in here, rather than talk about the actual incident. Farage making a silly comment that’s made things a bit worse, but actually describes how everyone is feeling anyway, shouldn’t be the main focus of debate, yet it is for some, because it’s more convenient than acknowledging the “anti-racism” element of policing has now over corrected and is now discriminating the other way.

Thing is. It wasn’t a silly comment as you keep saying. And he won’t regret it, as you keep saying. He has form. Everyone knows this.

And we’re not all feeling what he said. I feel a deep sadness for the victim. And a deep sadness for the victims family having to see the violent aftermath after explicitly asking for that not to happen.

But, if you’re feeling ‘pure cold rage’ then, you do you.

Impossible to prove was my point mate. We don’t know why he delivered that speech for sure, I think he said it in anger, others think he wanted a riot.

With respect, I think you are letting your own rage at the incident cloud your view on what Farage's motives likely were.

He has a track record of interjecting in this fashion and he is always very considered and careful in his choice of words and this is no different. He said people should "respond with cold hard rage" I think that's too eloquent a phrase for someone in the midst of anger to use; but more importantly it's simultaneously both explicit in suggesting or excusing violence whilst at the same time being just about sufficiently abstract that you would struggle to actually charge him with inciting the violence. He does this with his rhetoric quite regularly and he's quite skilled at.

Even if that’s all true, let’s say it is for now, it still shouldn’t be the main focus when it comes to this tragedy.

You should feel rage towards the police officers that attended the scene, that’s the natural reaction to this level of injustice.

Hasn’t been in the HOC for the last 77 votes, went to the EU fishery committee ONCE out of over 40 meetings (whilst representing British Fishermen), gets a £5M backhander ‘for security’, buys a £1.4M house for cash, wants to disband any workers rights, reduce taxes for the rich, the very rich and the ultra rich. Him and his kids have EU passports and he’s just started collecting his index linked £73k EU pension.
His a grifting shit house whose only interest is what benefits Nigel Farage.

I’m so angry I’m going to go and throw bricks at any policemen I see, because that will sort everything out. Oh, and I’ll kick any police dogs I see as well, whilst I’m at it…

I am on record many times saying what I think of Farage, I think he’s a proper ****. You’re maybe right here though, Farage said this incident should be met with “cold hard rage” and that’s exactly what I felt watching the bodycam footage. I had to step away from posting and deleted a post I made about what I felt should happen to the copper right after I saw it.

I do, though, genuinely believe certain posters have certain political positions that are challenged deeply by this incident and they are using Farage as a distraction because the police discriminating against white victims destroys their worldviews of group identity politics.

Any protest that uses violence or hate speech loses the argument very, very quickly. If you cannot make your points peacefully then you have got no point at all. There's probably been worse examples, but I remember the anti poll tax protests where some absolute evil f*ck**s were throwing home made spears at policemen on horses (as if the police and horses have anything to do with it!). I can't even remember whether the protesters were far left or far right (all the same shit stirring morons anyway).

I don’t think there’s an attempt to achieve anything, I think he’s lost his temper at the situation and has said something he’ll later regret.

I’ve done it myself today, I was that angry watching the body cam footage I liked something I’d never normally like online and then retracted it.

The left need to take a long hard look at themselves here though, it’s that sort of thinking and ideological thought process that has left Henry Nowak dying in the manner he did.
He didn't sound like he regretted in the commons earlier on with his thinly veiled comment about the 'anger spilling out getting worse'.

You should feel rage towards the killer who did this and their family who assisted & misled the officers in question whilst Henry was bleeding out on the floor, at anytime they could have called an ambulance.

This also doesn't detract from how the officers dealt with the situation once on scene, from the video we've seen they didn't do their best by the lad and should rightly come under high scrutiny/investigation as to how it played out.

Throwing wheelie bins at Police and performing Nazi signs helps nobody.
