it happens at alton towers. you’re there in mid summer british dullish but relatively bright cloudy sky and they announce that theres a possibility of an electrical storm like 25 miles away so they’ve turned all the rides of and your like fuccccckkk offfReminds me of using the pools at Disney World.
When the lifeguard cleared us out of the pool, after 20 minutes of blue sky, I asked when we were getting back in. He explained that everytime there is a lightning strike in some county a few miles away, the 30 minute clock is reset. That’s what will happen with matches interrupted or delayed due to lightning strikes.

This one feels just so....meh. It hasn't captured the imagination, passion or occasion of the World Cup. It feels like some bland, over sponsored, nothing friendlies tournament.
