Reasons I don't want him/We shouldn't get him.
He won't get the goals he does for Madrid for us. He won't get 10 pens a season, We don't play 4-3-3(yet), we don't have the players Madrid do, Aguero isn't Benzema and won't pass to him all the time. He shouldn't take free kicks because he's naff at them but will anyway. He'll start throwing tantrums because Messi will start leaving him for dust in the scoring charts. He makes 0.2 tackles per game, Dzeko is the worst in our squad with 0.5. He has over 6 shots per game and in 25 apps only has 32 goals, that's 32 goals from 150 shots. David Silva has 2 shots per game and has 11 goals, that's 11goals from 48 shots(24apps), David Silva is a better finisher than Ronaldo aha. He's 30, would be a world record fee(just ego things) and he's a c**t.

Well fuck me what an awesome post. Yeah i know i like it because i agree but for those who want him there are some very valid points here.

I think he is a prissy **** and don't want him here for that, a few other reasons also. The main issue though is his attitude, it would more than rock the boat, Kompany would chin him and i would pat him on the back for it.
Just nonono, you want Ronaldo then i don't think your looking further than the football manager basic appeal tbh.

think most are missing the lure of what we have to offer and what he has to offer us,.
he will be fully aware this is his last flirt at top flight football, his last contract and pay day, he will never get a deal the likes of which we can offer, the obvious carrot will be after 2/3 years with us, he will go to New York on a further 2/3 years on a huge deal, I can't even imagine a city and a man more suited for each other.

He brings his circus to us and is told to calm it down with full authority to fire it back up in nyc, we get a player with obvious ability and obvious marketing clout and outstanding European experience, any bollocks from him and we withdraw the carrot, the gamble on the revenue side is a no brainer and could be the biggest crowd puller the yanks will ever see. Sponsors would be queuing up, for once.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised. We already get enough stick for not having a full house. After the stadium expansion is complete we're going to sign either messi or ronaldo. It's the only way we'll come close to filling the stands... Otherwise we'd likely be the joke of the league, mainly out of jealousy, but it won't make a difference. Just a few of us wouldn't be that upset if the club did sign him due to the potential benefits it would bring.

There is not a footballer we could sign who nike would hep us as much to get . He is world footballer of the year and has been a number of times , no messi but head and shoulders better than who he would replace and marketing wise the name our owners would want. He is also off the pitch incredibly hard working and he looks after himself and will play top level for 5 more years without a big reduction in form. With silva, yaya ex supporting him he'd be immense.

But I do think he's a twat and can't imagine him a blue , or imagine ever supporting him.
