He's in decline, and most importantly would probably make Aguero consider his options; as he gets older and less mobile, Ronaldo will begin shooting from absolutely everywhere (which he practically does already) and Kun will spend more time dodging his shots than receiving passes from him. He's so far resisted the temptation of a move back to Spain, but that prospect would surely be a game changer for him.
Isco or Bale would be my preferred options from Real, but we need to rebuild the team; throwing big money at a big player isn't the solution. We need to add a few 7/10 every week performers to the defence and midfield before we can look towards a marquee signing, and even that should be a cautious process.
Aguero should be flanked by talented but industrious players next season, who give the opposition something else to think about, who can score goals and play for the team; Pedro and Sterling would be ideal, the former having already played that role with the greatest player in history for arguably the greatest club team in history, and the latter's application to the team cause at Liverpool playing at fullback is testament to his compatibility with our 'holistic' ideology' Kun has earned the right to be our star man, not be compromised by an ageing whore who looks disgusted when a teammate scores.

A wonderful trainer and physical specimen, who could certainly make a huge impact for two or three seasons.
Much of the resentment is towards his character traits, but his football is still at level only below that of Messi.
I hated Craig Bellamy with a passion, a grade A twot. You know what, when he came to us, he dragged that malaise out of us, he was a twot, but our twot.
He was a winner, and he demanded the very best of those around him - Robinho was quickly sussed.
Rather than see some of our players wilt, I think the likes of Aguero and Silva would allow them to elevate their games once more.
Sometimes it's not about relevancy, it's about perception. The club has lost some of its vibrancy as a team in the last couple of years, to the outside eye.
I really can't see a downside to having someone who will put bums on seats, have people out of their seats, and also pays for himself in a commercial sense.
City have put so much effort into Messi over the last couple of years, but if he does intend to stay put, then this is another signing which does stop the footballing world for a few seconds.
I don't think for a second Ronaldo gives a toss about upsetting United fans. He's a pound note man. And if there were hundreds of millions of dollars to follow that up with in NYC, he would certainly think twice.
Didn't that clown al Fahim state Ronaldo was Shiekh Mansour's favourite player?
Would love it, for all of the above, plus the meltdown, elsewhere!
Winners go home and F**k the prom queen.
And no, I am not hinting.

When i saw that docu on Barca Txiki seemed to me a man who knew what he wanted and he could not give a hoot about name or reputation.
Tolmie does make valid points however i feel the circumstances are different enough between Bellers and Ronaldo.
We really are mixing it at the top now, not aiming to get to it. We needed Bellamy and yeah Ronaldo may do the same but these are experienced title winners now, not youngsters wanting to make a name for themselves. With that i doubt some would tolerate him.
I would put cash on it Zabba detests him and a Kompany also at least. I also doubt Kun would put up with seeing the ball fly past him at a 100mph every single fucking time dickhead got the ball. He would cause a right fucking ding dong i reckon. Not a Bellamy ding dong either a 100% destructive one.
That's even more reason to put good characters in there, not worse ones. I don't see the logic at all in what you're saying. We have no team spirit, so instead of trying to improve it, lets make it even worse?EalingBlue2 said:TCIB said:I can see the logic yeah, i dunno though. I am watching a side at the moment that looks destroyed, going backwards, lacking spirit and heading for our worst finish in years ! What exactly would he come in and damage? Him coming would make signing quality like Pogba more likely too
