One things for sure, when he rocks up at City he'll win far less penalties and will be labelled a diver.

Seen plenty of footballers on easyJet flights.

I'm sure you have but I can't see one in the middle of 50mil transfer with associated media attention on one

Regardless of footballers flying habits, it's looking like he'l be a City player in the not too distant

Could somebody cut and paste please? I refuse to give this Tory rag any click revenue!

Ta muchly!

I agree. I think it's a pretty significant sign.

The deal is done.

Or he's a flash ****. Not sure which yet.

Paying the £50 million according to Sky Sports.

Liverpool get £40 million of that, which is probably about his value.

QPR's 20% has made this deal a little awkward.

People may complain it's £10 million too high, but what's £10 million when we're Champions next May?

Sterling will be a top signing.

Thought we would end up that high but he will make an instant impact as well as a longer term investment
Lets get it done and dusted before anyone else decides to muscle in

Are Sky actually reporting this or are they reporting what was in the papers?

Are you sure because I can't find anything on it?

I know every time we played Liverpool the player I worried about the most was Sterling. Now he's joining us, I don't care about the fee, he brings his pace, his dribbling that can help unlock defenses and another skill that some may not like but winning teams use it and have it in their locker...... He has the ability to actually draw fouls in dangerous areas which provide more goal opportunities for us.

What wasn't he 2nd most fouled behind Hazard and look at how many penalties they received that changed the course of games? We certainly get fouled a lot on our own, but our players don't go down easily unless there's an injury which is always scary but Sterling draws the attention to get fouled, like it or not, this ability can help win us valuable points. Yaya and Kola are still here which mean we have our FK specialists. I think Sterling is a very valuable pick up.

Now that it's been widely touted in the media that we're paying £50m, I fully expect the 'undisclosed fee' tag to be slapped on this one.
