Please list the supposedly superior home-grown players in his position who are likely to be available for transfer.

For non-HG players remember that we have to operate a 1 in 1 out policy on those players because of the squad restrictions.

There are none. So the club should find an alternative way of meeting the homegrown quota through the use of cheaper squad players and use the big money to buy big talent.

Hypothetical situatuon but can you imagine if some club from Iceland got bought over by some multi trillionaire and decided to spend 50 million on an Icelandic winger just to meet their homegrown quota? It doesn't make any sense.

At European level, it would be of no benefit to the club.

If British talent isn't available then don't spend silly money on it just to meet a quota, it'll do us more harm than good in the longer term.
