I am not completely ruling out Demichelis moving back to Argentina by January.

My thoughts too.

Tolmie did mention Laporte as one of the targets when he started his It's Quiet thread so it makes you wonder whether we are going in for a defender.

Laporte renewed his deal though and maybe we have moved on?

I am not convinced Martin will be with us past January, I think either this window or the January one he will move back to Argentina, and in regards to Denayer I still think a club like City won't put absolute complete faith in him just yet, as he good as he is and can be he hasn't even played a senior game for us yet.

I like the look of Denayer a lot but to say he will come in and play 20+ games for us isn't going to happen in my opinion.

I agree mate although if we are losing Martin the club will want to replace him with another experienced player I would have thought, having just Vinny who is injury prone as our experienced central defender could cost us a little.

Also Kompany and Mangala were average at best last season...this guy is quality....certainly challenge them for position.
