The North Stand is also having its gantry fitted you can just see some of the frame work on the seats in lower tier waiting to be lifted into place.
 
OK, I've been down to the Etihad this morning to get the Aguero dvd, I took a couple of pics if anyone can let this old fart know how to post them off an iphone 4s I'll put them on.
 
New floodlights mean they can dip the lights before night games again... this might help the counteract the fact that they haven't ordered the 2 new big screens for the 'ugly corners'.
 
They've dipped the floodlights before... so not sure this is a new thing for new floodlights.
I always assumed someone at UEFA / TV / Health and Safety didn't like the lights being dipped, so we stopped doing it - would like to know why we stopped.

It used to be quite decent when the lights dipped and Bluemoon was shown. From memory I think the last time it happened we were in Europa League?

LOL, Its one of my sons cast offs and I need help, which makes you right, I shouldn't really have an iphone, its back to the Nelson tonight.
I have a couple of decent pics of the stadium extension.

Great picture, stand and the whole ground will look amazing when finished. Was there any mention of the TV screens going in the two corners ?

I asked that question and nothing has been decided yet. There seems to be a wait and see policy. The guys running the building works from the City side would like to go ahead and straight away do the north stand extension, in which case the two screens from the north stand would be moved.

However the club are seeing how seat demand goes before committing to the extension.

Would make sense to put one of the north stand screens in the south stand till they make their mind up
 
If we land all the transfers we're after then they'll need to kick on with the North stand.

not sure this is true tbh,we all get giddy when we are linked with new signings etc but when it all cools down and the season begins there will be times when we wont even get 50,000 especially when SKY shaft us with a wank KO time against a team from the south who bring a poor away support.Id love to see a 61,000 seater stadium just dont think we will fill it? thats just my opinion,the men itk at city will know how much demand there is!! we are growing as a club in all ways so maybe in years to come!! they would have built it along with this expansion if the demand was there today.

I think you'll find EVERY league game next season will be 50,000 plus pal.
