It would be quite funny if we pulled out of the deal for 12 months and Stirling was happy to wait knowing that the fee would be reduced and we would bung him some extra...

They really are c^^^s. This lad has big balls. The assassination attempt has been fucking horrible to watch. How dare a decent young British player tell the mighty fucking Liverpool that he wants to win trophies, so he'll have to go. Unfuckingbelievable it is. Good on him and I don't blame him. They have done everything they can to destroy him, the way they have acted is reprehensible and shows a complete and utter lack of the "class and dignity" they tell everyone they have.
It also proves just what a strong character Sterling is. If anyone was worried about his mentality to crack on and become the player he is capable of being, then I think this proves he is mentally tough enough to cope with anything.
