De Bruyne?

I would hope that us putting in the early work would have him leaning more towards us. Wolfsburg may want to try and offer a ton of money and try to build around him but they should use the money to secure more top finishes in the league. Outside of Bayern, the CL spots always change from year to year. Building a deeper team vs trying to hold on to this one star seems more logical.

PSG coming late with a bid to drive up fee/wages. Don't see why they wouldn't want a homegrown player in Nasri, who would be surplus if KDB arrives

Nasri is a product of Marseille (the City as well as the club) and they despise PSG.

The lack of hype is also a good thing as we won't have to pay an additional £20m-£30m just because of media hype, as a bonus it also puts less pressure on him than Pogba and Sterling. De Bruyne is imo the best signing we can make this window, watched a lot of Wolfsburg last season and he's being vastly underestimated around here imo, people who think he might be a plan B are nuts as he's better than Pogba and miles ahead of Sterling (granted he's 4 years older than the latter.) Wolfsburg's 4-1 dismantling of Bayern is the best example of what he's capable of, he was involved in pretty much everything.

Absolutely agree. He's got so much quality it's unbelievable; Mourinho prefers the likes of Willian, and that's his prerogative because they won the league with his ideals last season, but on a team like ours that is primarily forward-focused he'll flourish.

Sterling is young and his pace and capacity to beat a man in the final third will add something we currently lack; Delph is another one who adds something we need in the middle of the park.

City are a massive club now so we might just have the edge. But I don't see why PSG need him. But if they do get him who should be the plan B?

If Liverpool are to be believed (personal choice) they are continuing to brief there is no improved offer on the table for Sterling as of today.

Which makes it highly unlikely he is one of the two names expected in at some point during the course of tomorrow.

I have said Pogba would be a real stretch, tomorrow, just from what info I have at this time.

Of course, things can develop very quickly, but it just seems a tad optimistic based on what I was told earlier today?

Sure, it could be Delph and one other, but this is why I hate passing on timelines from other people.

Let's hope I am wrong, or right, if you know what I mean!

what about De bruyne?

Why do United fans come on to a city forum, pretend to be a city fan, and post info that tries to belittle the club? If you want to engage in a genuine discussion just come on here as a united fan. You might get called a rag but people will generally engage with you if you have something sensible to say. However if you're on here to try and make fun then you look pretty stupid as your club's been a joke and pretty much insignificant the last two seasons! Sort out your own problems before worrying whether we will pull off our first choice targets.

I've Checked the blue moon forum for the past 4 years and I've read everything. I'm not a Utd fan I've been city since birth. I just had a question.
