I for one, am happy he's "changed his mind" after seeing his dismal performance in the FA Cup final, against a decent team, he bottled it every time he got anywhere promising, God knows what we saw in him

How reliable is Hunter, does he have his finger on the pulse and sources at City? he obviously works for Sky so is considered respectable..

And for those who think our interest is an invention, according to my neighbour who works for Villa, yes we did invoke the buyout clause to talk to him, but after thinking about it for a day he said no.

Because it's still early days, and I'd rather judge the success of our transfer policy when the window is closed, not before we've bought anyone.

Bollocks, why stay on our bench and potentially miss the Euro's?

He's developed well at Villa, they look they're heading on the up and he's leaving himself with more pressure to perform week in week out at Villa than he would have here. vThe spotlight is on him at Villa as you've just mentioned.

It's not "blind optimism" though is it? It's having trust in our chairman to deliver on his comments made on the end of season review.
If you can't give him some leeway after the way he's conducted himself since the day he became our chairman then there's no fucking point interacting with you, or any of the other soft arse flappers.
It's looking at the big picture - not throwing a strop because we've not completed all our signings within a fortnight of the window opening.
 
I am officially retracting my welcome to Manchester statement from yesterday.
Fair play to the lad. .. takes some big balls to walk away from a top club/wage rise.
All those that slagged him off because of his January statement can hang their heads in shame.
Still. ..it frees up £8M to throw into the Pogba pot. ...

The only signing looking promising is Sterling though, I'd agree if we manage to pull them off its just looking unlikely
 
classic example of why I never believe gossip in papers media and itk`ers,until I see it official on citys site it aint happening.Some of the people on here saying in one breath good signing and now saying didn't want him anyway,laughable

He clearly thought about it for more than a day as this story has been ongoing for a few weeks and he was set for a medical this weekend.

But we've had since the end of season to sort things out.

Look at who our rivals have signed! Arse have Cech, Chelsea have Falcao. . . Then The Tampons have got PigFucker, Depay and Darmien. . . And then the scousers have about 6 new players including Jimmy. We're in danger of getting left behind again.

I am just glad I didn't rush over to get his autograph as one of the itks said :-)

Harsh that mate. At least Txiki was able to agree a fee with the club. Granted he just had to trigger the contract clause but beggars can't be choosers
