Honestly, I'm not wumming. I know he's a rag and he's a bit erm..... agricultural but he'd be a good squad member. We don't need Delph. We DO need a cb though.

Yeah Demichelis was our best CB last season, Mangala should improve now he's settled, Denayer will be competing and Kompany is captain and can't sit on the bench.......CB, after striker, is probably the last position we need to bring someone in for.

He's better than Fernando and he got ~20 games last year.

Garcia also got about 30 in all comps the year before, and while not in the same position, Jesus Navas played a vast amount of games for us last season without nearly troubling the scoresheet; but he's Spanish so his hard work is an asset and adds balance to our team, but Delph's won't.

Not on subject, but Kompany needs to improve drastically this season, stop trying to anticipate as much and putting his defensive colleagues in the shite, and stop jumping in as much and picking up really daft cards.

Our defence was poor last season because no-one had any trust in each other, and that started with Vinny's huge drop off.

Only 1 poor season in a long career (taking into account Anderlect, Hamburg & us) and hopefully it'll be sorted by the time we take the field against WBA.
