I question how much you actually watch Isco if you think he is a luxury player. He works much harder in defence than De Bruyne from what I've seen, and his defence and work rate is good enough that Ancelotti played him a a CM next to Kroos when Modric was injured and they did fine. He's got a reputation for being a really hard worker.

Every time I've tuned into a big game for real His work rate is, and I'm not exaggerating, similar to milners. He will hound the opposition all game and he's put on enough weight to really get at them physically as well.

He was always a better than average 10 in terms of defensive effort, but Ancelotti has transformed him into a proper all-round Central midfielder.
 
KDB is much more of a "luxury" player than Isco. Isco has shown he will put in the work to get time on the pitch. That said I would rather KDB any day but either would be spectacular. Or both.
 
Neither KdB or Isco can be classified as luxury players, they'd both be key players that could push our team to the next level. With that said I don't see us bringing Isco now, only when Silva gets older, or perhaps Yaya if we're planning on playing him in a 3-man midfield.
 
Sterling is an improvement on Navas for me and KDB is an upgrade on Nasri.

Add in Lopes and Iheanacho and I like where we are going regards to our attack.

Just need to sort our midfield out, i.e. Pogba.

Also the fullbacks.
 
I fully expect KDB to be our next signing now that Sterling has been acquired, after that then it will turn to Fabinho or another target for that position. The obvious long running saga will be Pogba and if he is not signed I hope we will have a alternative in place quick like Aranguiz - we are in good hands so no flapping on my part :c)
 
Is all the aranguiz hype coming from the copa America?

Didn't see much of it, but if question why a 26 year old hasn't been taken up by a European team yet

Manchester City are ready to follow up their £49million move for Raheem Sterling by launching a similar bid for Kevin De Bruyne.

The Barclays Premier League runners-up hope to tie up the loose ends on the deal for Sterling within the next 24 hours but will offer £40million for Wolfsburg midfielder De Bruyne.

The Bundesliga side have discussed a new contract for the 24-year-old who returned to training with his club on Monday.

Premier League runners-up City will offer £40million for Wolfsburg midfielder De Bruyne after Sterling

City are prepared to offer up to £50m, however, to fend off competition from Paris Saint-Germain who are also keen on Angel di Maria of Manchester United.

Liverpool forward Sterling is expected to undergo his medical on Tuesday after a deal worth an initial £44m, plus £5m in performance-related add-ons, was agreed with City.

Gotta get this done quickly while PSG are still after Di Maria to avoid a bidding war. We're probably going to have to shell out another £50m, but that's fine imo as De Bruyne is the main man on an already wealthy club, we've always known that he'd be expensive so it shouldn't come as a surprise unlike the Sterling deal.
 
Think we'll act very swift on this one. Wolfsburg don't seem like the type of club that will keep a player against his wishes so if De Bruyne wants to leave I think they will be happy to enter dialogue with us.
 
Need these deals done asap as we have chelsea first home game and want to be at full pelt for them bastards!
 
De Bruyne, Sterling, Bony and Aguero could see the attack sorted for many years so it's an investment for several years and all at a good age.

Then next summer sort out the midfield (if no if arrival now) or the defence.

Didn't realise Bony is only 26, he looks much older. We'll get 7 years out of him if we're lucky.
