on the bbc yesterday they had some just over from calais and they got 30 quid a week and accommodation. yet theres people here who can't get housing or money

No hypocrisy, just something you dont like or are uncomfortable with.
They have broken no GB laws.
If they enter the UK then they are breaking UK law if they want to enter legally they can apply in France get a French passport and then enter the UK as an economic migrant. Thankfully they are stopped from coming in by people with common sense.

No it isn't. I've stated a hundred times on this forum I'm an economic migrant.
By trying to illegally enter the UK they are breaking laws. That's why they get deported/stopped if caught and the poor bugger drivers get £2000 fine per person.
You need to be in the country to claim asylum, it is all linked further up.

Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan are not in the EU but they will be the first "safe" place to claim asylum. The fact that those countries are already overun with migrants make that virtually impossible. So the first country rule is just not feasible
Once they are arriving in the EU, why are they not immediately claiming asylum? If they have a genuine claim, they will be accepted and can then move freely throughout Europe to work, like you or I can.
The truth is most are trying to get into the UK so they can work in the black economy. As the French employment minister was saying two days ago "it's Britain's fault as it's possible to work in the UK without documentation and there are no ID cards"
