Your Favourite Edin Dzeko moment?

not an important goal as the game was done and dusted but the 6th v rags gave me most pleasure

his most important was his first v notts county, we were out for the count until he popped up at the far post to kick start our trophy run
In a way last 2 goals were very important at the end of the season as goal difference would have been 4 instead of 8

Not his best but it was his First-------------Get In Edin...........Who was the commentator? Tw*t..
City Millionaires no how about Billionaires.................

Edin has scored many really crucial goals for us it is hard to pick the best one from the following:

1. Away at Blackburn to get us into the Champions League for the first time ever. I think this may have been his first league goal
2. Two goals in the 3-2 at Everton, where we rarely win in the second Championship season
3. The opener at Crystal Palace, in the same season with his fantastic goal celebration.
4. The opener against Villa around the 60 minute mark in the pouring rain when it looked like we would never score.
5. The second in the 3-2 QPR game, which many blues including myself could not be arsed cheering. The only other City goal I did not cheer was Horlocks at Wembley 1999.
6. Not a crucial goal but one that gave unbelievable joy to all us Blues, the 6th at the swamp made by David's sublime pass and Edin asking someone how many it was before putting up 6 fingers. Brilliant and so sureal.
7. All four at White Hart Lane, particularly the first and last ones.
8. The equaliser at Notts County, without which we would not have won the FA Cup to get the banner removed.
9 The League cup at Newcastle, which helped us to go on and win the league cup.

Not bad for a player many fans did not rate. Without him we would not have had such an impressive trophy haul.
If I had to pick the best moment it would be his 4th at Spurs, a goal of sheer beauty the only one of its type that I can remember.
Edin thank you, you have been a gem and a gent. Good luck with your new venture.

Agree with all this. I also loved the countless near post goals, usually from a Kolarov cross, where he didn't have to think

The 6th at the swamp. Favourite ever City goal until Aguerooooooooo! And I've been watching them for more than 50 years.

It's a long list. One I can't see mentioned is Wigan away in the first PL winning season. IIRC it was a header from a free kick.

Yes. I was at that game. We were one up away from home at a place we rarely won, top of the league, and current FA Cup holders...and the guy next to me moaned all through the game including the quote "this is f*cking boring, what a waste of money".

Oh, just shut the f*ck up. Dad.

And for the record my fave Dzeko moment has to be his two away at Everton. And his cramp. First time I really thought we were gonna win the title since we lost at Anfield after it went to 3-1.

Five favourite moments from Edin that have nothing to do with his play.

1. According to Rafa Honigstein, he had agents working four different deals in Europe when he was leaving Wolfsberg. When he decided he wanted to play for us, he wrote a letter asking if he could join.

2. I am not religious but I always found Edin - and Samir's - praying on the pitch before a game powerful and moving. You can still see Edin praying on a Sky ident.

3. Edin helping Bibotelli with his bib and smiling as they hugged each other.

4. The Guardian article on Edin's significance to his nation. As if carrying our hopes wasn't heavy enough.

5. This always makes me smile:

1. His equaliser v QPR, he didn't even seem to jump.

2. His back header away at Spurs, the day he got 4.

3. His double against Villa that wrapped up the second title, was chuffed for him that night.

4. His double against United in 2014 down our end.

5. His class goal at home to Newcastle last season. My missus was sat next to me at the game that day, Edin remains the only person to make her scream louder than I do...
