Trams stop at Trafford Bar from Alty and then bus to Picadilly to then get met to Etihad. It says that it is until 730pm so will trams be running normally back to Alty after that?

Hartford,Crewe,Piccadilly, tram should be less than an hour for you

Takes max 20 minutes to walk. Trams to the ground are fine, just don't bother after the game, its quicker to walk.

Yes the tram station is under the station and takes less than 10 mins to get you to about 10 yards to the megastore/city square.

Forget the tram from Piccadilly Station you won't get on it, best to go from Market St or Piccadilly Gardens still heaving but you have a chance, walk it in 20 mins is best bet

Just walk it from Piccadilly, it's really not that far, either follow the canal or the roads

Plenty of bike racks at the ground and outside the atheltic's stadium.

Do you mean the turn off where they built the ramp but forgot to build the road ?

Had they built that road it would have led to cars going the wrong way up a one-way street.

I always advocate swimming up the canal, the possibility of being pushed in is greatly reduced :)
