Just wow, top top drawer performance from the whole team, it's been done to death but we look far more balanced and tight with one up top, 433, 4231 without doubt suits this squad .

As complete a performance as I've seen from this team. Fought for every ball like their lives depended on it. Sagna and Mangala were absolute beasts in the air. It's up to Zaba to try and earn his place back from Sagna now. Kompany back to his very best also.

Fernandimho MOTM for me. He was like a demon in the middle of the park, would not let anyone past him.

We struggled with maintaining concentration in a lot of games last season but today and last week we've been right at it pressing hard and making life very difficult for the opposition.

We made the Champions of England look very average.

Fans were immense, I've got a sore throat now after moving to the South Stand.

Play with that determination every week we will absolutely piss the league this year. So happy right now :).

I find it staggering that after a few goals early on last season, pundits and fans were bigging him up as better than or least equal to Aguero. Costa isn't fit to sniff his Aguero's farts. Almost every time he gets the ball he is looking to fall over and win a free kick. When Aguero gets it he tries to score.

Mangala with a protective arm around Fernandinho as the players walked off at H-T when Costa was trying it on with the handbags playground stuff. Nice touch by Eliaquim. Really don't want to see him loaned out if the rumours prove true. The lad is coming on well and needs to be backed.

We do look up for it. It is very good to see after last years half hearted at times efforts.

If Kompany, Toure, Silva and Aguero stay fit and stay in form, there is no one to touch us. Managers will be shitting themselves after watching that today.

Definitely mate .. and with a couple more additions (which is looking very likely) I think we'll go far in the CL albeit with a few kinder draws.

I thought the back four won us that game. Stifling Hazard absolutely killed Chelsea's game plan. Costa is another Dzeko in that he needs someone to do his work for him, so that nullified him. Meanwhile, Mangala & Kolarov push up and allow Aleks and Raheem to give Fabregas and Matic fits before they even got to Ivanovic. All of this left a ton of space for the rest of our team to murder them.

On a side note, I think today showed why Nasri is surplus to requirements. Look at the fluid speed we play with when he isn't in there. The days of slow and patient seem to be gone.

I agree that the back 4 were ALL good today - which surprised me to be honest. I don't remember watching a game when I thought that every single City player was excellent. I disagree with you say about Nasri, however. When he was brought on, City were trying to keep the ball & maintain control of the ball - no-one better in the team than Nasri at doing this. Also he was instrumental in the build up to the 3rd goal.

His debut was against CFC last season, he nearly ripped the post out of the ground with a volley from a corner, had a cracking game then, and repeated it today. Would have been nice if his header had trickled in!

Couldn't fault any of our team but special praise for Dino and Mangala.

Atkinson and his linesman must have had money on a Chav goal between 45-65 mins as (and I've seen some bad decisions in my time) all 3 of them cheated us for 20 mins then gave up.
