At some point they will leave. They can be considered as legends of this football club. How do you imagine a life after that? How will it feel when you look at the starting 11 sheet and there are no Kun, no Vinnie, no Zaba, no Yaya? I mean it's not the same like watch Jovetic leaving because of their contribution to the club. Share your thoughts.

I was having a really good day then I see this thread. I don't want to think of the above, particularly little David, my heart is breaking already, he is without any shadow of doubt the best footballer I have ever seen grace a football pitch. Long may it continue. Sergio is a phenomenon, a goal scoring monster. Zaba is a warrior, an adopted manc, a fan, a hero to so many. Vinny is the glue that keeps the team together, the driving force, the alpha male protecting his territory. Joe just gets better and better as a keeper, a fan of the club and a representative of City, he speaks so much sense and will be a great ambassador in years to come. Yaya, well he made a few mistakes with his agent but you know what, he loves City, otherwise he would have gone, he will be very fondly remembered.

What's the point in this? It's not going to happen for a long time so lets not worry about it. It will be more manageable as they're not going to all suddenly be gone, we'll lose one or two at a time and the remaining players and future stars like Raheem and the likes of Kelechi will dampen the blow

We have to be ready when the time comes. Think of the mess that the Scum and Candlepool have created for themselves because of their intransigence and resistance to change. Their myopic view of their position in the football galaxy is slowly coming to an end and there is no Plan B. We have to prepare and think the unthinkable because time is the most unforgiving aspect in a footballer's life.
I remember the feeling of despair when Bert finally called it a day, I had been watching a genius at work for most of my childhood and I thought that he could never be replaced.

We'll be alright. We'll replace them with new stars that will forever have a place in our hearts.

With all the transfer activity over the years, not only at our club but every club, it's pretty crazy to know that 7/11 out of our best starting line-up have played together for at least the last 4-5 years. 8/11 if you want to include Nasri.

They will be replaced by players over time who themselves will hopefully become legends here, don't think it's much of an issue.

ZABA - Can see him staying here until the end of his career, settling down in the area and turning out for one of the local non-league sides for a laugh.

YAYA - Big money move to the middle east probably a few years too early.

KOMPANY - Will end his career here.

HART - Go to a mid table premier league in his mid 30s.

AGUERO - MLS after a short spell back at Atletico.

I think Zabs might move on sooner or later because he is getting on and this year could be the deciding point for his position. Yaya will probably end up in a slower league like Italy eventually or just make the easy switch to NYCFC. Kompany I can't see anywhere else and will probably end up at NYCFC or similar. Hart I don't know, I think he will just be here like all the other great goalkeepers till he is 40. Aguero will either stay here for a while or end up at one of the Madrid's before he is too old and then head back to Argentina.

To get so many fantastic players to grace our club & develop together as a team for a number of years is pretty rare in this day & age .hopefully by the time they leave we will be one of the top 6-8 clubs in Europe & will continue to atract the worlds best players plus by then the results of the Academy will start to show big dividends

I'd expect at least one or maybe two of our current group to stay on in a coaching role. Don't ask me who. Much as we love them, most will move on to new pastures. It's what happens.

Merlin and kun both want to end their careers at their boy hood clubs. Could see vinny and zabba have a crack with nycfc to be honest as well.

Zaba will open a surf and turf restaurant to take fish and chips and steak and chips to the affluent suburbs of South Manchester, the restaurant will colloquially be known as 'Zaba's Chippy' on bluemoon.

Vincent Kompany will move into politics before becoming disillusioned with it and coming back into football to sort out the corruption in world football, possibly with a spell at UEFA.

Joe hart will go into the school of wooden acting before winning a role as the 9th James Bond.

Yaya toure will open a learning and wellness centre through sport in his native Ivory Coast with kolo in honour of their late brother. He will become the head of development for African football reporting directly to Vincent.

Sergio will become a singer and have many hits in his native Argentina. He will become a development coach in his spare time and often return to Manchester to watch son Benjamin play for City.

David will return to Gran Canaria, chill out and maybe do some fishing and play beach football with the locals keeping his family and friends around him. He will, of course, have the proceeds of his hotel resorts to support him.
