No, Urmston and others blamed the boy's plight solely on his parents. He wasn't referencing or mentioning anything to do with the impact of refugees on Britain. It was indefensible post and he was/is a **** for saying it.

That's great and all, but what exactly are they supposed to do until their own country is "safe and a place to thrive"?
 
ive been to bodrum ,got one of the biggest night clubs in Europe or claimed it did,bit of a shit hole.

It is noticeable that most of the abuse and name calling in this thread comes from people who are quite sure they hold the moral high ground.

Then they chose to get in a tiny boat and set out to sea. Or at least the adults did. The children had no choice.

Don't think anyone doesn't sympathize,tbh though its upto them if they dont,calling people cunts who don't agree with you is going to provoke people to give you the same treatment.
Don't complain if that happens.

Exactly, this isn't about fault and it isn't or shouldn't be a political football it's about helping people who are risking death running from a place where death seemed certain. It's just a case of showing humanity to others.

Fucking hell bud, do you really think if we didn't allow another refugee into this country ever again, that there wouldn't be no more poor people in this country any time soon?
Or the NHS won't be strained ever again?
Or no more benefit cuts?
Or more jobs for young people?
These issues will be around forever and it's not due to lack of money available to the ruling class in the UK.
 
The people on here who think we should just worry about our own, and that we cant afford to take these people in should realise We ( Blair ) and the Americans ( Bush ) are pretty much single handedly responsible for the rise of ISIS and the whole refugee crisis going on when we decided to invade Iraq and decimate the infrastructure there. We as a country need to man the fuck up and deal with the mess we have made!.

He said the only shocking thing about the plight of the young boy was that his mother put him in a boat. And he continues saying it. I think that quite succinctly describes the prick's lack of empathy and sympathy.

As for calling people cunts, I'll do it all day long when a fucking idiot spouts absolute bollocks for attention because his daddy used to ignore him.
